Galgotias University: From Perspective of a Student

Overall Rating
Overall Galgotias University is an average university. You will enjoy University life and experience the academic pressure. The attendance is mandatory but placement is not. The academic is good and the syllabus is up to date with new technology and innovation. The faculty is very supportive and inspiring. The campus is very good and you will enjoy your whole university life. Overall it is one of your good choices if you get admission in this university.
 

Academics Rating
As I am pursuing B.Tech from this university and it is one of the best decision because the syllabus is modern and new. You will learn and acquire industry based knowledge and get ready with the job acquisition. There are various ways to get admission in this university. The admission is done on the basis of JEE Mains exam, CUET and direct as well. After getting shortlisted you will get mail from the university and then you have to visit campus and submit your documents for verification.
The fee of B.Tech in Galgotias University is Rs. 1,15,000 for 1st year and from 2nd year it is Rs. 1,09,000, as Rs. 5,000 is refundable and not charged from 2nd year onwards.
 

Faculty Rating
All the faculty members at Galgotias University are very supportive and helpful. All the faculties are either Masters or Ph.D holder. They are very active with the academic of the students and concern about their future. The faculty members teach with the blackboard and PPT as well. They also prefer Group Discussion for better understanding of students. The problem solving abilities of the faculty’s member is very good and they help students also with their skills.
 

Placement Rating
The placement is 80-90% at Galgotias University. The average package is about 4-5 LPA. If you have skills then you get placed easily because the university provides lots of opportunities for getting placed.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel is good and the food tastes average. The cleanliness of the hostel is always considered and bathroom is cleaned from time to time.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The Infrastructure of Galgotias University is best and modern. The building is equipped with all facilities like AC, lift, smart classroom, etc. The greenery of the university is also maintained along with the modern technology. The cafeteria of the university is best and the cold coffee is mouthwatering. The university also has very large ground for games and very attractive and spacious sitting area where you can hangout with your friends and enjoy your day.
 

Campus Rating
The university campus is lush green and large enough for hang-out with friends and playing games. The campus also has basketball, badminton, and kabaddi court. The auditorium of the campus is large enough for university activities. There are several clubs in the university which actively participates in everything, you can join such clubs and take part in extracurricular activities like singing, dance, acts, etc. The freshers and other fest of this university is one of the best times I had here.

    There are many reasons for which I joined this university. The university is located in a quite great place when it comes to getting technical and work exposure. Delhi is really close and many travelling places are close by. Also, fests used to happen but now they are all declining both in quantity and quality.
