Overall Rating
Overall experience of my college is good. VJTI is in Mumbai so we have many opportunities. VJTI has good infrastructure but some teachers are not that much good. VJTI is best for their legacy of about 138 years. VJTI is better than below NITS and new NITS. VJTI has many departments for individual degrees and diploma. Good placement opportunities. Good environment, Research centers, clubs, committee are available in the Institute.
 

Academics Rating
The course chosen by me is EXTC. My motive for choosing this course is my love in electronics subjects because it's useful in all categories of jobs and opportunities. Eligibility criteria for college is to give exam of Maharashtra MHTCET If you are Maharashtra student, but if you from other state there is no seat reserved for that. If you are from state of Jammu Kashmir then there are reserved seats for that. Admission process is simple we have to appear for Mhtcet exam and get percentile near to cutoff and you will get admission. There are many parts of exams in our college like first 20%TA, 30%MST, 50% ESE in all semesters.
The fees structure in VJTI is on year basis and it's based on students categories. My course fee is Rs. 78,051 in first year. Tuition fee is Rs. 15,000. Others fees is Rs. 26,000, and other fees structures. There is a discount on respective categories as mine is SEBC where we have to pay tuition of about 50% of 15k. There are many scholarship kindly check on VJTI website as mentioned in scholarship section.
 

Faculty Rating
There are many faculties in respect to all branches. The name and qualification details of faculty members are available in VJTI website. VJTI has facilities of every type of board so teachers method of explaining is in all formats of boards. VJTI teachers follow respective books for that particular subject. The teachers are available for every subject. The ratio about teacher and students in our class is 1-80. The teaches are good for explaining.
 

Placement Rating
As I am in first year I don’t know about that much about placements. How it happens in VJTI. There is sector like TBA which gives money for their projects as if it's good. There is a decrement in placement in current year due to recession as compared to last year. Packages data is mentioned in VJTI websites.
 

Hostel Rating
VJTI have their own hostel facilities only for out of Mumbai residents students. Hostel is not good that much, but the price is low. As there are many hostels mentioned as A, B, C, and D and there is PG hostel for boys. As in first year C block is allotted, in one room there are 4 students. The fee for all details is mentioned on the VJTI hostel website.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The structure of our college is great having separate department for every branch. Campus size is about 16 acres which is too low as compared to others colleges. An academic facility like library has 1 floor. There are 2 big rooms and also it has good environment for studying. There is only one auditorium in college having capacity of about 300 students (approximately). Canteen is good serving good food at affordable price but there is no mode of online payment. There is club of sports with the name enthusiasm. The favorite thing of college is that they maintain old college as beautiful as earlier.
 

Campus Rating
Campus Life is good enough. The crowd here is not that much but there are many students in our college so crowd appears when any club function happens. There are many clubs like Ranga, Enthusia, Pratibimb, Technovanza, and many more. There are clubs like SRA which conducts workshop of robots and COC which conducts coding culture of students. There are activities apart from regular subject are Yoga, COC, SRA, Meditation, Motorsports, NCC, etc.

    I’m in currently First Year B.Tech at Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute. My branch is Electronics and Telecommunication. I had just completed my first semester but if I have to give an overview then I must say the institute is really better in terms of academics and placements seeing recent year placement reports.
