Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI), Mumbai provides secure and separate residential facilities to the female and male students at its hostels. • The act of ragging is considered a criminal offense; therefore students indulging in the same within the hostel premises will face serious consequences.

• Shouting, making loud noises, and disrupting peace of fellow hostellers inside the hostel rooms or within the premises should be avoided in any circumstances.

The Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute hostels are present separately for female and male students. The A, B, and E hostel blocks are exclusively for girls & the C, D & PG hostel blocks are for boys. Moreover, the hostel rooms at VJTI Mumbai Campus are available in multiple occupancies such as single & double and contain various amenities in order to provide students a hassle-free living experience.

Apart from this, mess is available separately for girls and boys through which they are able to have healthy meals timely in a day. The students residing at the Institute’s hostels are ensured with complete security as there are dedicated security personnel available round-the-clock. Apart from this, hostellers can access the internet through the computer room and Wi-Fi connectivity present within the hostel premises.

There are separate messes for male and female residents of the VJTI Mumbai hostels which provide hygienic and healthy food on a daily basis. The boys’ mess is handled by JMC and the girls’ mess is managed by a third-party contractor. Moreover, the male students are required to pay Rs. 44,000/-, per year and on the other hand, female students need to pay Rs. 3,558/-, per month as the mess charges.
