My Experience at VSSUT university

Overall Rating
VSSUT university is the heart of western Odisha. This is situated in Sambalpur dist. This institute is approved by Odisha government and it is granted by UGC of India. All western side dist are dependent on This University. They provide quality education; All kind of facilities are available here like sports, different types of clubs. You will find peace full experience.
 

Academics Rating
About Academic, they provide Engineering Course like B.Tech, B.Tech + M.Tech, MCA in lateral entry and Regular MCA, this institute has own research centre for that they provide PhD course, I am from Jharsuguda and Sambalpur is my nearest dist and I know that is University is better than some good University. I choose MCA course as I want a job in IT companies.
 

Faculty Rating
6 members of faculties are present in our department. They teaching is up to the mark. The faculties are very experienced. Our HOD Dr. Sucheta Panda, he managed the whole Department smoothly. Mostly all the faculties are having Doctorate degree. But some Junior faculty are also there. Sometimes I feels that they are doing just work. We can't understand their teaching methods.
 

Placement Rating
VSSUT placement support is like ok ok, not bad and not also good. In corona time they didn't provide on campus so that most of students get disheartened. But after 2021 middle some Core companies are visiting regularly. In MCA and computer Science department, they provide service based core IT jobs. One of my friends get placed in Mindtree with a package of 3.5 LPA. If you can't find on campus them you can apply outside also through Off Campus.
 

Hostel Rating
These hostels rooms are in good condition but it feels very dusty. The hostel looks incomplete. But they provide Good food. The Morning breakfast and lunch is good, but some time the dinner feels tasteless. Wi-Fi also there, you can study in online mode, Because the connectivity of wi-fi is very strong. If you stay in hostel then you can avail the gym facilities all the day. Apart from these they are having Separate dispensary block for emergency.
 

Infrastructure Rating
In Computer There are 7 Halls present. 1 Admission building is also present there. There is 1 garden which named as central garden. There is 1 library called Central library. But you have to registered, without registration you can't take books. They provide ATM facility. For faculties they are having quarters for them. Guests rooms also available.
 

Campus Rating
At last my best memories are festival, function, we celebrate all the occasion like a family member. In Institute they are having Big hall where we celebrate Ganesh puja, Saraswati Puja and Biswakarma puja. About sports they conduct in every year and in December month and After Some days they conduct annual function. There is also cafeteria where all types of snacks are available. But the canteen food is not good. Transportation facilities is there which is run to nearest cities. There are clubs like coding club, cultural club is also available. Work hard and gain something form Institute.

The university is overall very good as it has a lot of clubs and activities to take part. The teachers are quite good in terms of teaching and support.     In terms of money it's awesome. Faculties are doing well. Campus life will be memorable. Many view points are also nearby. Mess food is better. You have to adjust yourself according to routine. In terms of placements, core branch have better opportunity than CSE. Many food stalls are also available along the college sides.
