A Student’s Experiences at Amity University, Lucknow

Overall Rating
Firstly, I came here as I was not eligible for taking admission in a government college. Also, it has a brand value which helps you in many places in life. It follows anti-ragging policy which makes it safer too and in Lucknow it provides the best ROI (Return of Investment). Also it has many branches which provide you opportunities to appear in the placements in different branches. Sometimes it's tough because you get criticized because of your fashion sense but its okay you improve.
 

Academics Rating
I'm here pursuing my career in CSE (Computer Science and Engineering). I'm currently in 3rd year and I have an entrance test back then to enter in this university. So there are 2 mid terms and 1 final exam per semester along with practical consisting of 40 marks. Academics at Amity University, Lucknow have made me strong enough to study and learn anything anyhow.
The total fee for my program at Amity University, Lucknow is Rs. 14, 00,000 including hostel fees for 4 years Rs. 75,000 per year. Also the mess fee is Rs. 3,800 per month which is not included in the hostel fees. Scholarship is given to many students. If you achieve a certain CGPA which is required you can continue your scholarship for all 4 years, even if it's 100% scholarship. Scholarships are given to almost every student based on your PCM plus English marks.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty at Amity University, Lucknow is well spoken and experienced. Every faculty member holds a Ph.D degree in one or two subjects minimum. They teach us via blackboard method, ppts, projection and what not. We really have a good bonding with all the faculty members and they are quite supportive in any term. Facilities also very linear about the attendance which makes you very free that you can do any work on your own.
 

Placement Rating
Placements at Amity University, Lucknow were good 2 years ago but nowadays it's not. Average package is just 3-4 LPA and that's not very good. Noida campus is the main campus and priority is given to those students. You have to be extraordinary talented in order to get high package placement.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel surrounding Amity University, Lucknow is quite peaceful and wardens here are very friendly. Rooms, washrooms and lobby are just so clean and like home. You don't feel suffocated here. Also we have playing here behind the area we have around the hostel. We have to have attendance daily at 9:30 which makes us safe also.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is just so good. Also renovation is going on. Everything becoming modular. Washrooms are just like malls and new franchise is about to open. We have everything available inside the college we don't have to go anywhere. You also have a fruit shop inside the college. And we have a café of our own inside the university which is very budget friendly. 2 canteens are also present in the campus.
 

Campus Rating
We enjoy a lot here. Campus life at Amity University, Lucknow is very fun. We roam, play, study and what not. We organise various events and celebrate festivals throughout the year. Morning gym is the core memory. There are various rules and regulations that are followed in the university strictly. We have a NGO which is run by our university students. We have tennis court and badminton court inside the buildings and outside the building too. There is a separate building for indoor games. Overall, I have enjoyed a lot in the university.

    As a University, the life here is amazing. My experience till now has been great. I met great people, great faculties that are always ready to help the students in any way. The study part is pretty serious and 75% attendance is mandatory but except for that the University is amazing.     Amity University, Lucknow was established in the year 2004; offering diverse undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs. It is a nice campus with all the basic amenities that students require. Admission is based on the scores of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET).     If you are not able to get a government college then you can choose this college. I chose this college because this college provides a lot of opportunities to its students and the overall growth of student is also very good in this college.
