What Every Student Should Know About Amity University Lucknow

Overall Rating
I am very grateful that I have joined this University. It will help you shape your overall personality and you will get to learn several new things. You will also get a chance to work with the people of other department. It provides good exposure to the students. It is a very good University for students like me who want to explore everything. We also face several challenges but it is a part of life.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen B.Com (Hons.). I chose this course because I had PCM in my class 12th and I got to know that I don’t have any interest in the Science field. The eligibility criteria is that the students must have score 45% in their class 12th boards. For admission, the students have to qualify the entrance test and score good marks in it. You can also take direct admission in Amity University Lucknow. The counselor will help you in your admission process. The University conduct 2 exams in a semester such as mid- term exams and end-term exams. Overall, the academics are great.
The students have to pay the fee semester wise. The fee of my course is Rs. 84,000/- per semester. It includes tuition fee and other charges. The University offers 100% scholarship to the students who scored 95%.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of this University are well qualified and highly experienced. Most of them have done Master’s and Doctorate level of education in their respective field. They have industrial experience as well. They teach the concepts in a very good manner and also provide practical knowledge to the students. The teaching methods include PPTs, group discussion, debate, etc. They also conduct other activities so that we understand the topic very well. The teacher to student ratio is decent. They provide special attention to each and every student.
 

Placement Rating
Amity University Lucknow has an active and well-organized placement cell that helps students secure a job in reputed companies. The cell frequently conducts grooming sessions, interview cracking strategies, resume building sessions, etc. It organise various guest lectures and workshops for students to understand and build a better personality. The companies offer good packages to the students.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the University offers on-campus residential facilities to both male and female students. Both AC & non-AC rooms are available. It can accommodate a lot of students. The female students are required to enter the hostel by 6:00 PM and the timing for the male students is 7:00 PM.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of this University is great. The campus is huge and offers various facilities to the students. The campus has gym, sports facilities for indoor & outdoor games, library, etc. Medical rooms are also available which students can use in case of emergency.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life till now is very fun and engaging. I like to participate in events and explore various talents which are present in me. The campus crowd is decent and it belongs from different states of the country. There are various clubs such as Amibeats Central Level club, Aasha club, Unnati club, Mudra club, etc. The University conducts 2 main fests such as 'Sangathan' which is a sports fest and the other one is the 'Amiphoria' which is a three days cultural fest. I am very lucky that I am a part of this University.

    As a University, the life here is amazing. My experience till now has been great. I met great people, great faculties that are always ready to help the students in any way. The study part is pretty serious and 75% attendance is mandatory but except for that the University is amazing.     Firstly, I came here as I was not eligible for taking admission in a government college. Also, it has a brand value which helps you in many places in life. It follows anti-ragging policy which makes it safer too and in Lucknow it provides the best ROI (Return of Investment). Also it has many branches which provide you opportunities to appear in the placements in different branches.     Amity University, Lucknow was established in the year 2004; offering diverse undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs. It is a nice campus with all the basic amenities that students require. Admission is based on the scores of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET).
