IIIM Jaipur's Placement Opportunities: Top Companies, Packages

My overall experience at International School of Informatics and Management was excellent. It is a private college affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. I was looking for a college which has a good MBA program and also offers personality development. I had heard that IIIM Jaipur has the best faculty for academic growth and personality development is also supported in their campus. Apart from this, I chose this college because of its good placement records and advanced infrastructure. The campus life at the college is enriching as students are able to develop various skills alongside their educational development.

I studied Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources & Marketing in this college. The eligibility criteria for this course is obtaining a graduation degree in any field with high marks. We had final exam and two class assessments in each semester. The college is focused more on student's development and preparing them for corporate world.

My fee was around Rs. 40,000 per semester. My course had a total of 4 semesters, so I was charged around Rs. 1,60,000 for the entire course. Students also have to pay addition fee including registration fees and exam fees for each semester. The college does not provide any special discounts to students. It also doesn’t offer any financial aid to the students.

The faculties were extremely supportive. We were assigned with a personal mentor at the start of first semester, who was responsible for providing us guidance throughout the MBA. Most of these faculties were PhD or B.Ed. qualified with many years of working experience in their respective. Almost all of the faculty members used PPTs for teaching. Some of them also used case studies, group discussions, and audio/visual methods to make the class more interactive. In my opinion faculty members had good problem solving skills as they always took quick actions to resolve our issues. I had great bonding with the faculty members specially my mentor, she was very supportive.

The college has a placement cell with experienced placement faculty. They invite reputed companies for placement and connected students with top recruiters. After the 3rd semester, placement cell starts conducting interviews with placement companies and regularly sends emails for upcoming interviews to the students. HDFC, AU finance, Mahindra, ICICI, Mahima group regularly hire students from on-campus recruitments drives. Recruiter often offer packages between Rs. 2,40,000 to 6,00,000 per annum. In my opinion they offer good placements for Finance and Marketing students but the placement services for HR students could be improved.

IIIM Jaipur has its own hostel in the campus, which is available for female students only. The hostel rooms have central air conditioning. The hostel mess offers tasty food prepared which is prepared with proper hygiene. The hostel fee is around Rs. 90,000 per year. The environment as pleasant, non-disturbing, and safe. Hostellers cannot leave the premises after 8 P.M.

The college has 2 academic blocks, one is for MBA students and the other one is for MCA classes. It has a huge library, various faculty offices, principle’s room, and a reception area. There is a playground, canteen, and recreational area for students in the backyard. The classroom have air-conditioning with a seating capacity of about 120-130 students. An auditorium, conference hall, and seminar hall is also available within the campus. I spent most of my time at the auditorium. It was my favourite place because I participated in activities, organised presentations, and interacted with external speakers at the auditorium.

My overall campus life was fulfilling as I have not only achieved academic excellence but also developed various skills. I was able to improve my presentation, self-grooming, and coordination skills at the college. Our college crowd was always eager to learn new things and work together. The college also organized an annual fest for 3 days which was named ‘Mosaic’. It gave us a chance to participate in activities, organize, coordinate and gain new experiences with a lot of fun. A number of business fests and conferences are also conducted at the college.
