Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University Agra is a state government university established in 1927. University is also recognized by the University Grant Commission. Since it is a government university hence fee is minimal. For the Bachelor of Science students fee is 15000 per year and Students can also apply for the scholarship of 24000 on the Uttar Pradesh Scholarship Portal. I choose this university because of its reputation and the faculty here. Others should get admission in this institute if they want an affordable education from quality faculty members. College is situated in the city so that is not so good part of the college because of the air quality of Agra. Overall college is good and provides some good facilities for the students.

I choose Bachelor of Science course with mathematics. In which there are three main subjects Math, Chemistry and Physics and some non credit subjects. To take admission in this course students must fill the admission form in the University based on the merit. Then after filling the form student must submit the college fee. Student must have done their 10+2 from an affiliated inter college. Minimum mark percent is decided by the college management. I choose this course because I wanted to be teacher in government school. Course duration is three years. In each year exam happens three times. Final exams happens third time followed by lab practical. Labs are very necessary in this course because we study lot of theory in the classes and to understand the theory fully we need to attend all the labs with focus.

Main highlight of DBRAU Agra is the faculty members here because they are all scholars and doing their own research in their respective fields. Method of teaching of the faculty members is good and they are very supportive for the students. Some of the Faculty members in the university have published many research papers in the IEEE conference and few of them have filed patent. Faculties in the labs are also very good and they explain each experiment in depth and also provide extra time in lab for self practical.

No Placement cell is not available in the B.Sc course. There are few companies that came to the college for the placements but they are managed by the management. There are not good opportunities for the students to be placed in B.Sc. Since most of the students take admission in the B.Sc. because they want to be teacher So students also are not interested in the placements and their plan after the graduation is to pursue post graduation. Teachers recommend doing some internship but college does not provide internship opportunities. Students alone find the internships.

Since Bhim Rao Ambedkar University Agra is older than 95 years hence college hostels are also old and hostel buildings are also old. But the facilities in the hostel are good and they provide all the basic need deeds. Hostel fee is also very less and it is also very affordable for the students. Since college hostel is old not many students lives in the campus hostel. They take the PG outside the campus. There are many sports facilities are available but they are for both hostels and day scholars. College hostels are huge but they are not full. Food in the mess is average.

Dr BR Ambedkar University Agra is constructed in the old fashion and it is not upgraded since 50 years. So infrastructure is old but it is good. College is not situated in the single place, it is constructed on different places nearby. Like college classrooms are situated at a place and college hostel is one kilometer away from the classrooms. There is huge library in the University with old infrastructure and it is very well maintained even after 95 years. College has 2 hostels separated for boys and girls. Classrooms are clean but they do not have modern facilities.

Many festivals happen in BR Ambedkar University Agra and many students participate in the events. Annual fest does not happen in the college. But University celebrates Independence Day and Republic day as annual day in which students perform. Students celebrate each festival in the college whether it is Holi, Diwali, Eid or Lohri. Some of the clubs in the college are Spots Club, Arts Club, Chemisics, and Photography Club. There are many science workshops that are being organized in the university each year and many students participate in the workshops. This university may have many disadvantages but it gives unmatchable learning environment.
