RAIT Navi Mumbai: Fee Structure and Admission Process

Currently, I am in 2nd year of my degree and I will rate my experience 7/10. I selected Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology, Navi Mumbai because currently, it is the top institute in Navi Mumbai and the prestigious tag of this institute attracts many companies for placements. In this institute your campus life will be best. Many fests are organized frequently. For great campus life and placements, you should enroll in this institute.

I chose B.Tech in Computer Engineering. There are only 2 requirements for admission; scoring more than 50% in your class 12th board exams and class 10th boards also. In the admission process, all your documents are verified like Aadhar Card, your residence proofs, and any exams given their certificates, etc. Three exams are conducted in each semester. An internal assessment test for 20 marks, mid semester exam for 20 marks, and end semester exam which vary from 50 marks to 60 marks. These are conducted with 1 month gap in each. The academics are really good and prepare u for future jobs and real life challenges.

Fee for my course is Rs. 4,00,000 per year which makes it Rs. 16,00,000 for full course of 4 years. Rs. 30,000 is paid as a onetime university fee, for semester registration and assignment papers. There are no scholarships or waivers in fee so, it is same for everyone.

All the faculty members are qualified with 12+ years of experience. Every faculty member has an Engineering background from reputed institutes. They teach with the help of smart boards, showing various videos and PPTs. They make teaching process very interactive. They are very good and qualified. There is 1 class counselor which is same as a class teacher for each class and there are 4 to 6 teachers for each subject. In my experience, the best part of this institute is the faculty, they are so supportive and they don’t fail anyone easily.

RAIT Navi Mumbai has the best placements in the city so far. Professors assist you really well during the placement drives and also teach you the necessary skills required for interview. Many companies like Amazon visit campus for recruitment. The average placement is of 7 LPA to 8 LPA.

I don’t know much about the hostel facilities, as I am a day scholar. The hostel fee is about Rs. 2,00,000 to 3,00,000 depending on the room a student has chose. Hostel has Wi-Fi facilities also.

Since, Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology, Navi Mumbai comes under the ambit of DY Patil University, it has the best infrastructure in Navi Mumbai. DY Patil Stadium is attached to the institute. The campus size is huge. It also has a hospital attached. All classrooms are good and spacious with a seating capacity of 100 students. Although each classroom has only 60 students. There are sports facilities available in the institute as well. Students can access the gym and swimming pool with additional fee. My favorite thing of the infrastructure is the DY Patil Stadium in which cricket matches are played and many fests are organized.

So, the best part of this institute is its campus life. My campus life since I have experienced many committee works so, I’ll rate it 6/10. There are many clubs like ACM and all, which helps you to interact with your fellow mates really well. Most of the institute is filled with rich kids from rich families but there are also children from middle class families as well. Every week there are some sorts of events going on. When fests are conducted, various famous celebrities also come to perform. I am really enjoying my college life here.
