BBIT Kolkata's Affordable Engineering Courses

Our campus is very good and the CSE department faculties are good. The environment of the campus is fantastic. However, the placement is moderate. Our fest is one of the best fests in Kolkata. The institute provides transportation too. The canteen facility is very good. Library of the institute is best. The HODs and the faculty are very humble and supportive. The principle and the admin section are also good and maintained.

The CSE department is trending in 2022. However, this time there are also many courses like CSE-AI/ML, CS, IOT, etc. There are many scopes to crack big companies and crack high packages in these courses. The eligibility criteria for admission in the institute are to have Physics, Chemistry and Math in class 12, and WBJEE or JEE Mains rank. In class 12, minimum of 75% marks should be there. In addition, direct admission is also available.

The fees are Rs. 3,84,000 for 4 years. In every semester, tuition fees are Rs. 37,500 and the other fees vary from Rs. 7,500 to Rs. 8,000 etc. Scholarships are also available. There is Swami Vivekananda scholarship, which is available for 4 years.

The faculties are very good and humble. They are all M.Tech and PhD holders. In addition, they have at least 5 years of teaching experience. If we have some problem, the faculty is very helpful. The labs are also very good. The problem solving ability is also good in many teachers. However, some teachers can improve their methods.. The teacher student ratio is 1: 30. All classes have a black board. We have some smart classrooms also where teach using projectors.

The placement in BBIT Kolkata is moderate. The average package is 5 LPA and the highest package is 12 LPA.

I am a day scholar so I have no information about hostel.

The infrastructure of BBIT Kolkata is very good. Our campus is one of the big campuses in Kolkata. There are two buildings, one is academic building and other is admin block. Campus size is very big and in campus, there are Football grounds, Basketball grounds, Swimming pool, and gym. The classroom is also good and well maintained. Wi-Fi is available in our campus. The library of our institute is also big and good. The labs too, are well maintained. Many trees are planted in the campus. The building is very big and fire extension available. The canteen facility is available and foods are very affordable. 24/ 7 drinking water supply is available at the institute. On the campus, many temples are also situated.

In our institute, many clubs are created like Coders clubs, Dance club etc. Our fest is one of the biggest fest in Kolkata, named ‘Magnus’. I enjoy my campus and facilities.
