The Institute has established a Training and Placement Cell (TPC) which prepares the students for the corporate world by equipping them with required skills and knowledge. In order to facilitate Budge Budge Institute of Technology Placement opportunities to the students, the cell conducts industrial training programs in their respective streams.

TPC organises several pre-placement training programs & activities for the students and some of them are stated-below:

The cell has built strong corporate connections to provide ample job opportunities to the students. Some of the leading companies are IBM, KPMG, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, TCS, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, EY, and ICICI Bank.

The Budge Budge Institute of Technology Campus covers a land area of around 20 acres. Within the campus of the Institute, several academic, administrative, residential and other blocks are available offering top-notch facilities to the students. The classrooms at the Institute have overhead projectors, LCD projectors, cordless microphone with amplifier, audio-visual facilities, etc. to provide a digital learning environment to the students.

• Library: The Institute has a central and several departmental libraries which contains numerous books, titles, reference books, and other educational materials. A digital library is also there which provides access to online databases to the students in order to conduct advanced academic and research work.
  Apart from this, a reading room is present which can accommodate around 180 students. In addition to this, students can avail several other services like reference, circulation, reprographic, and book bank facilities within the library.
• Laboratories: There is a ‘Central Computing Center’ at the BBIT Kolkata campus with an adequate number of desktops, updated system software, and internet services are available. Moreover, to provide hands-on experience to the students in their chosen streams, several fully-equipped labs are available in the departments of Computer Science & Engineering, Basic Science & Humanities, Chemistry, and many others.

• Auditorium: BBIT Kolkata has built an air-conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of around 650 students and it is used to organise academic & non-academic events.
• Seminar Halls: Around 2 seminar halls with an accommodation capacity of approximately 250 students in each are present within the Institute’s premises.
• Conference Halls: A Conference hall is built within the campus of BBIT Kolkata to conduct National and International Conferences for the students.
• Canteen: Within the premises of the Institute, a modern cafeteria is available to cater the diverse food requirements of the students as per their taste and preferences.
• Hostels: The Institute provides separate on-campus hostel facilities to male and female students. The rooms at the Budge Budge Institute of Technology Hostels are available in multiple occupancies with attached washrooms. Moreover, several other amenities like mess, round the clock security, sports facilities, etc. are provided to the hostellers.
• Sports: BBIT Kolkata has Lawn Tennis Court, Basketball Courts, and several playgrounds for other games. Moreover, a gymnasium is present at the campus for the students with required machines and equipment.
• Transportation: Buses and cars are available at the campus to provide transportation facilities to the students coming from nearby areas of the city.
• Medical Facilities: Free clinics with adequate amenities and ambulance services are present at the campus to provide medical assistance to the students.
• Other Facilities: ATMs, swimming pool, and other such amenities.
