Budge Budge Institute of Technology B.Tech Fees Structure 2025 & Admission Process, Kolkata

My course is computer science and engineering with specialization of cyber security. I take admission in this college by wbjee counseling. I have lots of interest in this course and want to know more about cyber crimes and ethical hacking. There are also other engineering courses like electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, artificial intelligence etc.

The CSE department is trending in 2022. However, this time there are also many courses like CSE-AI/ML, CS, IOT, etc. There are many scopes to crack big companies and crack high packages in these courses. The eligibility criteria for admission in the institute are to have Physics, Chemistry and Math in class 12, and WBJEE or JEE Mains rank. In class 12, minimum of 75% marks should be there. In addition, direct admission is also available.

The fees are Rs. 3,84,000 for 4 years. In every semester, tuition fees are Rs. 37,500 and the other fees vary from Rs. 7,500 to Rs. 8,000 etc. Scholarships are also available. There is Swami Vivekananda scholarship, which is available for 4 years.Read Full Review

The college has three courses. First course: DIPLOMA (POLYTECHNIC). The diploma has several streams like: electrical, civil, electronics, mechanical, Computer science and technology. The eligibility criteria of diploma are same for all streams. The eligibility criteria is, students have to pass class 10 from any recognized board and also have to sit for the JEXPO exam. Second course: Bachelors in Technology (Engineering). The engineering also have several streams like: electrical, civil, mechanical, electronics, computer science, information technology, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and cyber security. The eligibility criteria for all engineering streams are same. The eligibility criteria is, students have to pass class 12 from any recognized board and also have to sit for WBJEE or JEE mains exam. In case of lateral entry, students have to pass 3 years diploma from any college and also have to sit for the JELET exam. Third course: Masters in Technology and Masters of Business Administration (M.Tech and MBA). The eligibility criteria of masters in technology, students have to pass engineering (B.Tech) from any recognized University and have to sit for GATE examination. The eligibility criteria of masters of business administration are: students have to pass B.Tech (engineering) or BBA from any recognized University and have to sit for CAT examination.
