Facilities at JEMTEC Greater Noida: From Labs to Auditoriums

My time at the college has been one of the most meaningful chapters of my life. It was not just about attending lectures and giving exams; it was about growing as a person, figuring things out, and learning both inside and outside the classroom. The environment here made it easy to feel like I belonged, and that really mattered to me. What stood out the most was how supportive everyone was - teachers, staffs, even fellow students. The faculty was not just knowledgeable; they were approachable and genuinely interested in helping us succeed.

I have chosen engineering in Computer Science, as it is what I wanted to pursue. There are 2 sets of mid semester exams before the end semester exam. Admission is through IPU counselling (I was admitted through it). Eligibility criteria are a certain rank and percentile. Academics do teach us the real life skills here. We also have practical exams depending on the subject in that semester. An external examiner usually takes it from a different college. We also have class tests conducted regularly by the respective subject teachers.

Fee is same for all B.Tech students. However, there is some relaxation for economically weaker students. For claiming that, they have to clear a certain criteria of marks to be eligible for that scheme, it is same in all colleges of the university. Since the fees are decent, the course is available for all the aspiring students.

Faculty here is amazing as they are very knowledgeable about their subject. They teach very well and provide us with required study materials. They make the use of projector for easy understanding of the topic. They conduct quizzes and tests for making the lecture more interactive and fun. They are also very helpful in classes. They are open for doubt solving sessions and give personal attention to every student. They give us regular assignments for practicing. They also help us with our real life issues or problems.

Infrastructure is very nice here there are many facilities in the college including auditorium, equipped labs, canteen, stationary shop, amphitheatre, basketball court, badminton court, etc. There are water coolers on every floor, making it accessible for everyone easily. There are lifts too for easy commuting. All labs have everything required by them. We also have common rooms for practicing for various extracurricular events or activities organised by the college. We also have seminar hall and conference room. All the classrooms are air-conditioned making them very comfortable.

Campus life is fun here as there are many people open to socialise. It is easy to make friends here, as people are friendly. There are a lot of clubs and societies in the college, which organise various activities throughout the year. There are 2 annual Fests in our college one is ‘Zest’ and other one is ‘Anugoonj’. Both of them are open for participation. There are many extracurricular activities throughout the year.
