Pursuing My Bachelors from KIET Ghaziabad

Overall Rating
My overall experience is average. There is good scope for everything here, be it academics, sports, extracurricular opportunities or industry mentorship. There are many extracurricular clubs too, which made me choose this institute. If you want to dive deep in Engineering, or f you want to explore things, this institute is the best.
 

Academics Rating
I chose Electronics and Communication here. Electronics taught here are industry-level and regular sessions with industry mentors are done here. We also have good level of electronics labs, along with that, our institute has also set up several centers of excellence labs which deal with industry level skills like Space technology, Robotics and many more. You have to give JEE and then you need to come to institute for counselling along with your board certificates. There are 3 exams in a sem followed by 1 end sem exam.
Fee for B.Tech Electronics is around 1.5 Lakh in tuition and 1 Lakh (approx.) for hostel.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are decent, some are very supportive and some are strict, so you will find a mix of faculties here. Faculty members are well educated, almost all of them hold a doctorate and few junior teachers hold masters degree. For my branch, we have a smart board, which is used as a white board where teachers teach upon. Each teacher has decent problem solving ability. They are well approachable and the teacher to student ratio is 70:1.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell which is very good. They float regular mails for job and internship opportunities from second year. Along with that, placement drives are held from 6th semester. Companies like Capgemini, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, etc. visit our institute. Average package is 6 LPA and highest package is 52 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Our institute offers residential facilities, but they are limited and not all students get them. There are many PGs around the institute, where most of the students stay. We have a seperate block for girl’s hostel and boy’s hostel. Fee for hostel varies if you take double seater or a triple seater room.
 

Infrastructure Rating
We have around 7-8 different blocks where our classes run. Each department has a separate block for their classes and labs. The institute is on National highway so there are fewer things nearby but we have good connectivity as Delhi metro is very near. The classrooms are well furnished; we have AV facility, which is used by many faculties. We have a good central library, seminar halls and an auditorium. Security of our institute is also very good; there are almost 2 guards at the gate at all time. We have 1 main canteen and 3 cafes around the institute. My favourite place to hangout in our institute is ‘Hungry Nites’ café.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is good, and the crowd is also very decent. Almost each and every student does coding. There are many clubs; we have around 50 clubs in our institute that cater to different niches. We have around 15 tech clubs for different domains like Android, Web, Blockchain, Cyber Security and many more. We also have many extracurricular activity clubs like Dance, Drama, Music, Personality Development, Entrepreneurship, Literary etc.

    My experience at KIET Group of institutions, has been like a roller coaster ride. Sometimes you will enjoy hanging with friends while sometimes you may feel overwhelmed by assignments.     Overall KIET Ghaziabad Group of institutions offers well-balanced education, with practical based leaning, and hands on experience. It has good infrastructure with very good quality of Wi-Fi network every in whole campus. Cafeteria and canteen food is edible and good enough. Placement records are much better.     My overall experience in KIET Group of Institutions is quite good, especially having supported peers, well-maintained infrastructure. Factors that made me choose this particular institute is campus placement, professors, and its alumni.   • KIET Ghaziabad: Clubs, Sports, and More on Campus

    My experience at KIET Group of Institutions, Ghaziabad is overall very good but in some factors I will contradict my statement. I have enrolled in B.Tech CSIT in the institute. I get the course and branch on the basis of my JEE MAINS rank and percentile. Mainly the reason for choosing the institute is because of autonomous system and the curriculum that is followed in the institute. It is not following the old curriculum of study pattern....
