Quality Education & Better Faculty at MVSREC Hyderabad

I got this college according to my EAMCET rank. According to reports, this college comes under top 10 colleges in Hyderabad, Telangana. I was happy when I got admitted here. It was overall a good college. Faculty teaching and placements are above average. College environment and classrooms are nice.

The course that I opted was Electronics and Communication. I have chosen this according to the seat allotted to me through counselling. I thought getting into any core subject of software is okay for me. You can get admission into this college through various ways. I got through TS EAMCET, which is an entry-level exam. And according to the college cut-off, the seats will be allocated. Students can also join by donation and management seats. Frequency of exams in all courses is same. There are 2 CIE internal exams in a sem, 4 assignments, and a final semester exam.

For any course in MVSREC Hyderabad, the fixed fee for our batch was Rs. 1,25,000 per year. At starting of admission, they will charge admission fee, which includes library fee, assignment books, records and other minor charges. And semester exam fee will be separate which will around Rs. 2,000.

Faculty members are good. They teach nicely. It is understandable. If we do not understand, we can ask doubts, they will clarify nicely. The background of faculty members varies. Some have done PhDs in their academics and have so much of experience in college teaching. Some of the faculty are M.Tech graduates and have many years of experience. Many of the faculty members teach through blackboard only. Only sometimes they teach through PPT.

Placements in our college are quite good. Many MNCs as well as start-ups visit our college. The average package would be around 4 LPA to 5 LPA. Companies like Accenture, LTI Mindtree, Infosys, cognizant, etc. comes to our college. People in the core branches also get core companies with good packages.

Students have to opt for private hostels outside college. There are many hostels around college campus but none in campus.

There are separate blocks for every branch. In first year of college all branch students stay in one block only. After 1st year, students move to their respective blocks. CSE and IT are combined as one block. ECE has separate block. Mechanical and EEE has one block. Civil, MBA, and M.Tech have another combined block. Campus size is not so big, but it is quite good. College campus has playground, basketball court, indoor games space, and canteen. Classrooms are also spacious too. Every class has AVs. Every block has conference hall. Basic medical aid is available at MVSREC Hyderabad. Transport facilities are provided too. Bus charges would be around Rs. 30,000 per year irrespective of the distance. Security is good, they always check ID cards.

My overall campus life was good. I studied and enjoyed very well. College crowd is big. There are many clubs like dance, singing, acting club and many other. There are other activities like NSS and NCC in the college. NSS people do society help, blood donation drives, and development programs. Flash Mobs, Technical Events, Music Fests, Traditional Days etc. are conducted. My overall college experience was good.
