My Journey to Excel in Defence at RRU Ahmedabad

Overall Rating
My overall experience at the University has been amazing. I have studied a little extra every semester. Defense studies can be so vast was a shocker to me as apart from that my experience has been much better than what I anticipated.
 

Academics Rating
5 subjects and counting every semester becomes little tougher as most students in our batch are average. However, just like me everyone has come with a clarity to learn defense management as it is not that one can contribute to defense just by fighting with weapons on borders but strategically too. Our academics covers a broad spectrum as how to choose international partners and our long history with nations. Our studies are so exciting that not just the course content but I often search the hidden conspiracy theories too and often discuss them with our professors too.
Rs. 84,000 is my course fee and around Rs. 1,00,000/- is the hostel fee, which is inclusive of mess charges.
 

Faculty Rating
Our faculties are the biggest potent asset of our university. All of them are quite experienced in their respective fields. Moreover, they also assist in gaining practical skills such as defense management.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel life here is meant to make us tough. Mess is good as not just it is air-conditioned but also gives us food, which is healthy and also tastes wise good enough to not remember home every odd day.
 

Infrastructure Rating
RRU Ahmedabad is built on a riverbank, which is Meshwo River. It is built this way to accommodate the racing track, as that is a mandatory drill that our branches students have to go through. The huge campus offers several amenities to maintain our fitness.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is the thing that keeps every student going because let us say. Classes happen for 6 hours a day and rest of the day is ours. Students too are so motivated and charged up that no one will be sitting idle in their hostel rooms but rather will be seen running and playing a sport. Therefore, this energy transfers from one to the other and this is the best thing about our campus life.

    A university about which I never heard of until I entered my class 12th and all of a sudden, I made it a point that I would study only at RRU. Finally, I relaxed the day i entered the college and lived for few days there.     Blessing in disguise, as I missed on NLUs & NFSU and this was indeed my third choice. I am from Rajasthan, We consider Gujarat as our sister state and therefore, as soon as I got admission here, my family happily agreed. Thanks to them for doing so, as our college teach us using survival of the fittest method. There are many courses to choose from. However, it is still better than most of the private universities....     RRU Ahmedabad presents us opportunities to work in elite public sector. Cyber threats have increased past Covid and therefore I chose this course as firstly not many Universities offer this course and secondly even if few Universities have this course, they are not as reputable as RRU....     I chose Rashtriya Raksha University over other Universitys due to the course it provides which is B.Tech CSE with specialization in Cyber Security. This course is focused on topics like Cryptography, Network Security and Ethical Hacking which is highly demanding in today's digital world.
