Overall Rating
Rashtriya Raksha University offers many specializations in B.Tech CSE. I have chosen Cyber Security. The college itself is related to security so it provides a better exposure of Cyber Security. This college has best labs to experience real life cyber attacks. The faculties are much experienced and well expert in real time projects and works. This is an emerging field in today's world and hence it provides a great exposure in it. It has a tag of INI (Institute of National Importance) and it comes under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
 

Academics Rating
This course provides a strong foundation in Cyber Security principles, Network Security, And Cryptography, and Computer Science. The entry is only based on JEE Main percentile and you must have PCM in your 12th grade. This year, the cut off was around 94 percentile. The main motive of enrolling in this program is to gain knowledge and develop skills to protect information from cyber attacks and threats. This college offers various opportunities in the government sector therefore; we would get more experience in this field. Theoretical and Practical classes conduct on alternate days.
 

Faculty Rating
The ratio of faculty to students is good. The faculties are easily approachable and supportive and guide the students. All the faculties are PhD holders. They combine theoretical knowledge and practical applications wisely. Faculties encourage students to participate in research and extracurricular activities to increase their knowledge to add on their overall personality.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, Rashtriya Raksha University has its own dedicated placement cell that helps the students to acquire jobs in the industry. It has collaboration with leading companies and cyber security firms like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and government organizations. It focuses on placing students in Cyber security roles such as Analysts, Ethical Hackers, etc. It organizes workshops and mock interviews along with resume building sessions.
 

Hostel Rating
This university has its hostel inside as well as outside the campus. The hostels are well cleaned along with a bed, study table, chair, wardrobe, etc. The 24/7 Wi-Fi facility is also present. There are separate girl’s and boy’s hostels along with a common mess and cafeteria. The hostel rooms are clean and well maintained. Students can apply for the hostel accommodation during admissions or during the start of each semester. Hostels fee are much less as compared to private or other government colleges. Hostels provide a safe and healthy environment for the betterment of students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is very clean and highly secured. It also has hospital and library along with all labs to assist the students in their studies and health. Wi-Fi is available, making it comfortable for the students. All of the academic blocks, lecture halls, office areas along with the administration building are at the same place whereas hostel and cafeteria are at another specific place. Classrooms are occupied by smart boards and projectors along with AC. We have hangout places like Lake Café, Lakeside, Cafeteria, and Gym area.
 

Campus Rating
There are many technical and non-technical students clubs, which are led by the students themselves. Some of them are Qalavant, Dhrupad, Ataman, Incubeta, Cyber Squad etc. We have annual fests like Rangratri and Aarambh, which is held in the month of October and January respectively.

    A university about which I never heard of until I entered my class 12th and all of a sudden, I made it a point that I would study only at RRU. Finally, I relaxed the day i entered the college and lived for few days there.     Blessing in disguise, as I missed on NLUs & NFSU and this was indeed my third choice. I am from Rajasthan, We consider Gujarat as our sister state and therefore, as soon as I got admission here, my family happily agreed. Thanks to them for doing so, as our college teach us using survival of the fittest method. There are many courses to choose from. However, it is still better than most of the private universities....     RRU Ahmedabad presents us opportunities to work in elite public sector. Cyber threats have increased past Covid and therefore I chose this course as firstly not many Universities offer this course and secondly even if few Universities have this course, they are not as reputable as RRU....     RRU Ahmedabad has quite a few rules and regulations and yet it does not make one feel vulnerable. The overall development I had at this University is remarkable. There is a balanced focus provided to both academic and non-academic pursuits of the students.
