Great Experience at RRU Ahmedabad

Overall Rating
RRU Ahmedabad presents us opportunities to work in elite public sector. Cyber threats have increased past Covid and therefore I chose this course as firstly not many Universities offer this course and secondly even if few Universities have this course, they are not as reputable as RRU.
 

Academics Rating
Our course has hacking as one of the main topics and in 2nd semester itself our learning on the same started. Besides that we have various other subjects which are important to learn in today's time.
The fee for B.Tech in Cyber Security is Rs. 85,000 per semester and in each semester we can pay it in two installments.
 

Faculty Rating
Consulting faculties is so easy and they go out of their ways to help me. Team building and communication skills are two key aspects and therefore our faculties ensure that group discussions are done at least once a week in the classrooms. Apart from studies many extra-curricular activities are organized by them as subjects or text books alone don't make perfect engineers.
 

Placement Rating
Our placements happen in marquee organizations as we are studying marquee engineering. Many private IT companies who are building cyber technology are come for recruitment. As of now students of Cyber Security are paid 8 LPA to 10 LPA on an average.
 

Hostel Rating
There are 13 boys hostels already which are from A to N block, and last year a new boys hostel which is the biggest of all with a capacity of 800 students has been built too. The only complaint though is with mess.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of RRU Ahmedabad is in a remote location. The University understands that and therefore they provide sports facilities, hostels, and top class cafes. There are four cafes and one of them remains open all the time. Even library is huge and although our University lacks departmental libraries but the common or the central library has books for every courses in the campus.
 

Campus Rating
We have lovely seniors and they help us a lot. Aarambh is our annual fest in which all the departments come together for Jam Sessions, sports, and debate competitions. It was the second best event as University's top event for me has to be Rangratri which is Navratri celebrations.

    A university about which I never heard of until I entered my class 12th and all of a sudden, I made it a point that I would study only at RRU. Finally, I relaxed the day i entered the college and lived for few days there. A good university with a river flowing next to it and love flowing all through between students and the faculties as all are so helpful and stand with each other is what makes RRU different from the rest....     Blessing in disguise, as I missed on NLUs & NFSU and this was indeed my third choice. I am from Rajasthan, We consider Gujarat as our sister state and therefore, as soon as I got admission here, my family happily agreed. Thanks to them for doing so, as our college teach us using survival of the fittest method. There are many courses to choose from. However, it is still better than most of the private universities....     I chose Rashtriya Raksha University over other Universitys due to the course it provides which is B.Tech CSE with specialization in Cyber Security. This course is focused on topics like Cryptography, Network Security and Ethical Hacking which is highly demanding in today's digital world.     Rashtriya Raksha University offers many specializations in B.Tech CSE. I have chosen Cyber Security. The college itself is related to security so it provides a better exposure of Cyber Security.     RRU Ahmedabad has quite a few rules and regulations and yet it does not make one feel vulnerable. The overall development I had at this University is remarkable. There is a balanced focus provided to both academic and non-academic pursuits of the students.
