Best Faculties at JIIT Noida

Overall Rating
JIIT Noida has two campuses and I am studying at Sector 62 campus which is the main campus of the University. The best thing about our campus is that CSE batch is divided from B1 to B10, and each class just has 30 students in it. So the batch of 300 is divided into 10 sections. Most Colleges operate with a class size of 60 or more students but not our Institute.
 

Academics Rating
Academics are quite different here as all the changes applied in the syllabus are upfront. If students are carrying backs for more than 2 semesters then they will be forced for a year down. So, academics at JIIT Noida are quite tough. With a small class size, the attention of the faculties is always there, and therefore one can't say that their doubts were not resolved or they didn't get a machine in labs.
The fee is Rs. 2,00,000/- per semester and the hostel fees is Rs. 1,00,000/- a year. The mess fee is Rs. 40,000/- per semester.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties give their absolute best and probably offer all they have got. Hence, they don't leave behind anything and expect the same from students too. They are all advanced and are familiar with technology and have immense experience in corporate as well as teaching. So our faculties give every piece of knowledge that they have generously. So they have better teaching standards by all means and because class size is low, they call out everyone with their names.
 

Placement Rating
Corporate projects are assigned and on the basis of that merit students are placed. Overall out of 300 students of CSE, almost half of them got campus placements.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel Fee including mess is Rs. 1,80,000/- a year which we pay and additional charges are added from time to time. Rooms are good and spacious, and AC rooms are available. Also there's a choice available between two seater and three seater rooms. Hostels have facilities as good as University and have separate library, hall, gym, and a swimming pool for students. Students are allowed to go out once in a while.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our Institute is quite big. Our amphitheatre has centralized air-conditioner and hosts tech events and Hackathons thrice every semester. Football ground is superb and even the cricket turf is amazing. Out of some kiosks and cafes that our campus has, the main cafeteria gives a proper restaurant kind of feel. Labs are good and so is the overall cleanliness at our campus and it is much bigger and better than Sector 128 campus.
 

Campus Rating
Coding clubs of the campus is something which almost all the tech students are associated with. Then AI Engineers have their own society, and Robotics and others too have the same suit. Our campus has amazing fest. Our campus is located in the centre of the city and everything is easily accessible.

The major factor which made me choose JIIT Noida is their placements because the average package of our institute is nearly 11 LPA and the median package is around 9 LPA which is far better than other private institutes in India.     From my experience, I would say that the usual environment of the college is that of more focus on studies along with plenty of pockets of opportunities for the students in extracurricular activities through various student clubs and groups and also through the annual fests held in the college.     Till now it has been a smooth experience with JIIT. I will mention both the positives and negatives Positive: good lab infrastructure and qualified teacher. Negatives: poor sports facility.     To my side College is not as good as I expected before coming to college by seeing the reviews and YouTube videos. But it’s an average college with average placement. The Girl to Boy ratio in college is good, you can easily get a partner. The study here is okay but very strict time table.     Overall Rating
    I joined this college on 10+2 merit based counseling which is very fairly done. This college overall I would say is 7/10 for study, 5/10 Hostel, and 6/10 for placements. But what you could get here is very good environment and its present at the most premier location. You can easily get mode of transport for any place.
