Securing my Future at JIIT Noida

Overall Rating
In my experience, this Institute is better than I expected. The reasons why I chose JIIT Noida was their placements, campus, academic, and co-curricular activities. The fee is also affordable as compared to other Institutes. Overall, it has been a neutral experience for me.
 

Academics Rating
I enrolled in B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Students will get admission based on their JEE rank and 10+2 score. Although during my year of admission the cutoff was bit high but now it has lowered. The academics are bit tough. Exams take place every month. We have a total of 3 exams per semester such as T1, T2, and T3. In between these, practical exams are also conducted. So to score well and get a good CGPA you have to work hard. Although the pressure is high but it has prepared me to work properly even in stressful environments.
The fee is around Rs. 1,50,000/- per semester. Usually it changes depending on which semester you are in, but there is not much of a difference.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is really helpful and approachable. You can contact them even after academic hours through mail or whatsapp. Most of the faculty members have done their Ph.D while few are pursuing it side by side. Usually most teachers prefer teaching us through PPTs and whiteboard. The teachers make sure that there is active participation in the class.
 

Placement Rating
The placement cell of JIIT Noida is really helpful. They provide regular updates and opportunities to the students. It also organises workshops to prepare students for interviews, how to make resume, and clearing online assessments. Recently, they organised classes to prepare students for aptitude rounds during the placements.
 

Hostel Rating
I'm a day scholar but according to what I have heard from my friends is that the hostel is nice.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus has 2 buildings for academics, one for my course and the one for BBA and MBA. The classrooms are quite spacious and have AC facilities. The labs are very well maintained but few computers are sometimes outdated, so it’s difficult to use them. We also have a library which has a large variety of books and offers a great space for self study. We also have a building for the mess hall, café, and a small tuck shop for everyday items.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life is good. Sometimes we get long breaks during classes, so it’s nice to roam around in the campus with friends and sit in the café or in the ground. Apart from academics the Institute has both technical and non-technical hubs, which usually operate after academic hours. The Institute also organise annual fest. The technical hub organise regular events, hackathons, and workshops.

    My experience in my institute has been quite good. The major factor which made me choose JIIT Noida is their placements because the average package of our institute is nearly 11 LPA and the median package is around 9 LPA which is far better than other private institutes in India.     From my experience, I would say that the usual environment of the college is that of more focus on studies along with plenty of pockets of opportunities for the students in extracurricular activities through various student clubs and groups and also through the annual fests held in the college.     Till now it has been a smooth experience with JIIT. I will mention both the positives and negatives Positive: good lab infrastructure and qualified teacher. Negatives: poor sports facility.     To my side College is not as good as I expected before coming to college by seeing the reviews and YouTube videos. But it’s an average college with average placement. The Girl to Boy ratio in college is good, you can easily get a partner. The study here is okay but very strict time table.     Overall Rating
    I joined this college on 10+2 merit based counseling which is very fairly done. This college overall I would say is 7/10 for study, 5/10 Hostel, and 6/10 for placements. But what you could get here is very good environment and its present at the most premier location. You can easily get mode of transport for any place.
