New Horizon College of Engineering B.Tech Review By Debasish Giri

My experience at my New Horizon College of Engineering has exceeded all of my expectations. I had a great time at my institute and was hired by an MNC. In regards to my college, it was founded in 2001. This college just celebrated 22 wonderful years. It is accredited by AICTE and affiliated with VTU University, one of Bangalore's top universities. This college is ranked #121 by the NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework). This university is also ranked among Bangalore's top five engineering schools. There are around 300+ faculty members present at the institute, which is crowded. The institute is renowned for its effective administration, and they put a lot of effort into helping students land jobs at prestigious organizations. Since there are so many IT firms close by, attending the institute is like attending an MNC.

B.E. in computer science is what I like. Because the university assists with placement support and NHCE Bangalore faculty has extensive experience. I want to pursue an engineering degree after completing PUC. Because I understand programming and have a basic understanding of computers. There is a state entrance exam called "KCET" for the B.E. programme, and I took it and did well. They charged 9–10 lakhs for the whole 4-year B.E. course. In addition to B.E. courses, they offer M.Tech, MBA, MCA, and PhD courses. Although the cost is somewhat costly, you may find every study aid imaginable, and they offer an endless supply of placement assistance because the college is located in Bangalore, India's Silicon Valley and IT powerhouse.

There are more than 300 faculty members present in our institute. The president of our college is Dr. Manjunatha. He did a nice job of running our college. Our CSE department head, Dr. B Rajalakshmi, assists us with project-related tasks. There are 20 lecturers in our branch, all of whom have PhDs and M.Tech degrees. The course material is designed using the most recent technological developments. They concentrate on people who assist students in graduating with good grades, preparing them for the workforce. The majority of the instructors are graduates of VTU and other major universities, which enable students, receive the best instruction possible.

One of the top primary reasons students choose to study at NHCE is the placement rate. For all branches, they offer support for 1000+ placements. Due to the college's location in Bangalore, the majority of IT businesses visit for hiring purposes. One company this year that goes by the name of Flexcar offers a bundle of 24 LPA. They provide assistance with job placement in service- and product-based businesses for our CSE department. For a placement drive, companies like Infosys, Mu Sigma, Wipro, and Rubrik are present. The biggest package offered by our institute is 30 LPA, however the majority of the companies that we visit provide above 3.5 to 4 LPA.

NHCE Bangalore hostel for boys and girls is housed in 4 buildings. This hostel was divided into batches and courses. There are linked bathrooms in the three- to four-person rooms. They charge 115,000 annually. The facilities offered include cleaning, a gym, a recreation centre, and clean, well-maintained rooms. The hostel has campus-wide wi-fi. There are four times as many meals provided, and each meal is packed with nutrients. They offer dishes from every cuisine. There are other private PGs available; nevertheless, in my opinion, our hostel is the greatest. You never run across issues.

Our institute has a distinct block. There are countless classrooms within the academic block. The labs are well-established, have a large number of computers, and have fully air-conditioned lab rooms. There is a sizable library there. The library has two floors and an adjacent study area. 45000+ books and 4253 multimedia resources are available. Both a hostel for boys and a hostel for girls are offered. A sports complex with both indoor and outdoor spaces is also available. The institute has a sizable auditorium. There is also a cafeteria available. Blocks for banking and medicine are distinct there.

Every year, our institute hosts a large number of events. Our college's annual festival is called Sargam. Our college hosts more tech festivals and intercollegiate competitions. All sports, including tennis, volleyball, basketball, badminton, and football, are played annually. The college environment is completely free of ragging. Numerous clubs and cells are available, including the Students Club, the Entrepreneurship Development Cell, the Industry Institute Interaction Cell, the HP Center of Excellence, the Gym Club, the Sports Club, the Drama Club, and the Cultural Clubs.
