Pursuing My Bachelors from SJCC Bangalore

Overall Rating
I feel SJCC Bangalore is one of the best place to pursue Undergraduate courses. It’s been one and a half year since I joined this College and I have not found any flaws yet. I chose this College because of its reputation and it also has successful alumni. The vibe here makes this College different from other Colleges.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Com in Travel and Tourism Management. I chose this course because I had a great interest in this field. For admission, the students need to complete class 12th boards with at least 75%. For professional courses, the students need to qualify the College entrance exam. There are two types of exams held per semester such as mid-term exams and end-term exams. The syllabus is as per the latest industry trends.
The fee of my course is Rs. 1,04,000/-. This fee includes admission fee, registration fee, etc. The students who are financially week can pay the fee in installments. There are two scholarships provided by the College called management scholarship and the old student association scholarship.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of SJCC Bangalore are perfect. All are well trained and educated in their respective fields. For practical subjects, the teachers use blackboard but for other things they use PPTs. They are always ready to solve all the doubts of the students. The teachers of my courses are very kind and friendly. All the faculty members are very approachable which make easy for the students to share any kind of problem with them.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the College has placement cell. Many reputed companies visit our College for recruitment such as Goldman Sachs, etc. I don’t have any idea about it because I am in my second year. For far, the highest package of my College is 26 LPA
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of SJCC Bangalore is average. The locality is very good as there are number of places to visit with your friends after College. The classrooms are good and well equipped with projectors and speakers. The classroom can accommodate around 80 students. The campus has auditorium which is well equipped with excellent sound system, a library which has all kinds of books. My favorite thing in this College is the food court as I spend most of my time there only.
 

Campus Rating
So far, the campus life is good. The campus crowd is engaging and energetic. There are various clubs in this College and I am a core team member of the association AICUF. The College conducts various extracurricular activities such as icebreakers, inter class sports events, etc. All these activities keep the students engaged. It also conducts various fests such as cultural fest and business fest. Overall, I am enjoying my campus life.

    The administration and faculty are good and they focus on well being of each and every student. I like the small campus and it is awesome. My main factor which made me to choose this College is the timings; they provide 2 shifts in which one is from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM and second is from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.     Being a Josephite brings immense pride and SJCC has been one of the best Commerce Colleges in Bangalore. If you are a student who is pursuing CA, you should definitely opt for SJCC because they provide a versatile timing.
