Overall Rating
When you think of Commerce college. Think about SJCC. Being in the Top 10 NAAC Accredited Colleges in India, SJCC has achieved par excellence in Academic and Cultural fields. With a motto to sustain higher learning and equality between men and women, the 75 year old Institution has been the home for famous alumni such as, Prakash Raj, Mohandas Pai and more. The college has facilities that meet the NAAC criteria at a National level.
 

Academics Rating
Known for its prime strength in academics, SJCC has been a Centre for academically excellent students with an adversary percentile of 97% annually. With over 3000 student passing out with flying colours every year, the college is a prime institution if you are looking gain knowledge in the Commercial world.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is cherry on the top of the cake known as SJCC. With an array of highly experienced and professional lecturers, SJCC has maintained a standard to meet the international level of learning for over 75 years. With its faculty, the college believes in Quality rather than Quantity. Many of the lecturers have done the highest level of education there is to their subject. There are over 50 lecturers who aim at glorifying SJCC.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are one of the biggest USP that SJCC has to offer. The college achieves a 98% placement success with top companies every year. Some of them are: Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo, JP Morgan, KPMG, Deloitte and many more. The college takes a certain effort to ensure that every individual is placed at par with their efforts provided.
 

Hostel Rating
SJCC does not offer Hostel facilities. If needed, the accommodation is to be done by the individual/ student itself and the locality is bound with many such facilities for accommodation.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The 75 year old institution stands strong even today and is maintained with care and decorum to the standards it has ensured since the beginning. The college updates its facilities annually to meet the NAAC rating requirements. The college has a state of the art Amphitheater, a dedicated state of the art library, and a large sports ground and basketball court.
 

Campus Rating
The college cares enough for its students so as to provide the best of both worlds. As much as the academic requirements, the college aims to make sure that every student enjoys their time post classes with their peers. The students are free to host their events that intrigue and entertain everyone. Some of the events hosted are Kalotsav - A cultural event, Spiel - a sports event, and Dhwani - Bangalore’s biggest intercollegiate event.

    The administration and faculty are good and they focus on well being of each and every student. I like the small campus and it is awesome. My main factor which made me to choose this College is the timings; they provide 2 shifts in which one is from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM and second is from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. I opted shift 1 because I am a CA aspirant. It is mandatory to maintain 75% of attendance but it is not compulsory for the students who are pursuing professional courses. The College makes s...     Being a Josephite brings immense pride and SJCC has been one of the best Commerce Colleges in Bangalore. If you are a student who is pursuing CA, you should definitely opt for SJCC because they provide a versatile timing. The college is located in the heart of the city and the weather makes it more pleasing. I chose SJCC because of the placements it provides and the versatile timing.
