Classrooms at SJCC Bangalore have Seating Capacity of 80-90 Students

The administration and faculty are good and they focus on well being of each and every student. I like the small campus and it is awesome. My main factor which made me to choose this College is the timings; they provide 2 shifts in which one is from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM and second is from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. I opted shift 1 because I am a CA aspirant. It is mandatory to maintain 75% of attendance but it is not compulsory for the students who are pursuing professional courses. The College makes sure that every student is doing best physically and mentally. My honest opinion about this College is really good but inconvenient for me.

I have opted for B.Com. My main motive behind choosing this course is to become CA. For admission, the students have to score above 95% in their class 12th boards. The admission process of my course is very simple. They will short list the students on their merit base. There are total 6 semesters, each semester will have 2 CIA which includes projects, assignments, class-test, and mid-semester exams. The academics are prepared in such a way that it will help professionals to build strong base in their actual job course.

The fee of this College is actually low. I've paid Rs. 95,000/- for 1st semester. The fee is divided into 3 parts such as admission fee which is of Rs. 5000/-, tuition fee which is of Rs. 54,000/-, and other extra charges. The College does not provide discount but it provide scholarship to the students.

The faculty members are really well versed in their specified field. There are faculty members who are still studying while teaching. The faculties are hired on the basis of their knowledge. The teachers also have experience of the corporate world. They upgrade themselves with new generation education system and use teaching methods such as PPTs, group discussion, etc. They provide solutions of each and every problem. The teacher to students’ ratio lies somewhere around 1:40. The teachers here are really very friendly and approachable. You can also share things with your mentors or counselors.

Yes, the SJCC Bangalore has a placement cell. It provides placements opportunities to the students who are skilled. They collaborate with companies such as Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, etc. They conduct interviews for internship and placements every year. I am in my first year so I don’t have placement experience right now.

Yes, the College provides residential facilities to both girls & boys. The hostel provides various facilities and also conducts events for all the residents. Other than this, I am not a hosteller so I don’t have much information about it.

The campus of SJCC Bangalore is small but it provides all the facilities. There is a building which has a lot of classrooms and staff cabins. The classrooms are sufficient for 80 students. Each classroom has projectors and screens. The campus has library, 2 computer labs, 2 halls, 2 AV rooms, board room, and sitting area for parents. The College has canteens and food stalls. The College also provides sports facilities such as Basketball court, Football, Cricket ground, etc. My favorite place in this College is the food court.

My campus life so far is average because of my personal struggle. The campus crowd is huge, there are a lot of students belong from the different culture and they are very friendly. There are a lot of associations and departmental clubs and I am also a part of the club. Our college organises a lot of events such as Tedx, seminars, etc. It organises 4 fests in which 2 of them are inter-College and the rest 2 are intra-College. The departments also organises their fests separately.
