Jadavpur University is one of the best universities in India. It provide engineering degree at the lowest fees possible, It has great placement records and strong alumni connections. The university provides a well-knit student community who are ready to help each other. One of the biggest reasons I choose this university over others is because of the great placement track record. Almost every year top MNCs visit the campus. I will definitely recommend students apply to this university.

Jadavpur University provides courses in Arts, Science, and Engineering. For admission to engineering one needs to give WBJEE exam. One needs to score below 2000 rank to take admission to this university. For candidates with reservations like SC, ST, etc. it varies each year. For postgraduate, one needs to give GATE examination. Students with diploma degrees can give JELET exam and take direct admission in 2nd year. Overall students looking for placements or for post graduation can choose this university.

Jadavpur University can boast one of the greatest faculties available in India. The professor is quite helpful and will be more than happy to guide you. Our professors have connections with faculties aboard and can provide you with recommendations. Also, professors are not very strict, and generally marking is quite lenient.

Jadavpur University has best placement record. This year the highest package that was provided was 48 lakhs by Amazon. The average package for It branches is well above 15 lacks. For the core branches, it is around 8-10 lakhs. Many companies visited this year like Samsung, Amazon, Airbus, etc.

Jadavpur University has hostel facilities. Although the hostel infrastructure is quite average I guess. Hostels have a playground, medical facilities, mess, etc. There is wi-fi provided in the hostels.

Honestly, the infrastructure is not at par with other government and private universities. However, the labs, library, etc is always well stocked. There is a big playground which can accommodate many students. There are medical facilities inside the campus.

Jadavpur University is also known for its annual cultural and technical festivals, which attract students from across the country. These festivals give students the opportunity to participate in various events and competitions, as well as enjoy a wide range of music and cultural performances In terms of campus facilities; Jadavpur University has a well-equipped library, modern classrooms and laboratories, and a range of sports facilities.
