My experience at this Institute is good. The placements are good and it has a great core culture. This Institute is great for the students who can sacrifice their campus life and want good placements. The students are required to maintain 75% of attendance in this Institute. The hostel facilities are great here it is one of the reasons why I chose this Institute. Various clubs are also available which students can join as per their interest.

I am pursuing B.Tech in Electrical Engineering. I chose this course because it will open doors to good career paths. The coding culture here will help me secure good job in future. The admissions are through the JOSAA counseling. The exams are conducted frequently. Overall, the academics are good.

The fee of my course is Rs. 1,00,000/- per year. The scholarships are also available for the eligible students. The students who availed the scholarship are not required to pay the tuition fee.

The faculty members of NIT Jamshedpur have done their education from prestigious Institute like IITs and NITs. The teaching methods include blackboard, PPTs, etc. The Institute has various kind of teachers some are strict while some are not. They solve all the doubts of the students and always provide guidance to them about the right career path. The teacher to student ratio is around 1:20. Overall, the teachers are good.

Yes, the Institute has training and placement cell. It provides good placements to the students. The students from the core branches get directly hired by the TATA industries. Various MNCs visit the campus for recruitment. Some of the companies hire the students on basis of their CGPA.

Yes, the Institute provides residential facilities to the students. According to me, the Institute has one of the best hostel facilities. It has good accommodation capacity. The mess is available which serves both vegetarian and non vegetarian food. The mess food is decent and the vegetarian and non-vegetarian mess is separate. It serves 4 meals a day such as breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. Various facilities are available at the hostel such as sports facilities, etc. We have multiple courts inside the boys’ hostel for games like Volleyball, Badminton, etc. The indoor sports facilities are also available. The hostel fee is Rs. 18,000/- per semester.

The campus of this Institute is a bit old. The infrastructure is decent. It has separate building for different departments. The classrooms are well maintained. There are several facilities available at the campus such as canteen, Nescafe, lecture halls, etc. Each department has lab facilities which provide practical knowledge to the students. The classrooms have AC facilities and are equipped with blackboard, projectors, and others. Overall, the campus is good.

My campus life at NIT Jamshedpur is good so far. The Institute conducts a techno management fest named Ojaas. Every department organise its events and fests throughout the year. There are various clubs such as Programming club, Sports club, Music club, Dance club, Drama club, etc. NSS and NCC units are available at the campus. Various extracurricular activities and tournaments are organised for the students.
