My Campus Life Experience at MUJ

Overall Rating
The ambience, aura, and most important the course design & the experienced faculty are great in this University. It provides exposure of almost everything from cultural fests to debating competitions which will give you a chance to know yourself better and move forward in career. You can take admission in this University, if you want to explore things. This University is recognised and approved by the UGC. The University has been ranked on 58th place in the University category by NIRF in 2025.
 

Academics Rating
I have done Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication from MUJ. My motive behind choosing this course was to explore more in this field. The eligibility criteria is simple, you must have passed your class 12th boards. The admission process is simple, you have to apply online and they will call you for the interview. Overall, the academics will provide you practical exposure.
The fee of my course is Rs. 87,000/- per year. They do not provide scholarship and financial aid to the students.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of my course are well experienced. They have good knowledge in radio and film production. They generally use PPTs or group discussion as a teaching method. You will see all the kind of personalities when it comes to problem solving. The teacher to student ratio is good. The teachers are quite approachable. The faculties do not interfere in the personal life of the students and allow then to have fun which is a good thing.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a placement cell and it is average.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the University offers residential facilities to male and female students separately. The mess offers 4 meals a day such as breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. I don’t stay in the hostel so I don’t have much information about it.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is surrounded with lush greenery. At MUJ, several academic blocks are there. The blocks have good number of classrooms. The campus has labs, library, auditorium, etc. The canteen is also there which provide good food to the students. The University also provides transportation facilities to the students. My favorite thing in the University is the TV and radio lab.
 

Campus Rating
Overall my campus life was good in this University. The crowd belongs from all over India and you will get the exposure of different culture and lifestyle. The University conducts activities on regular basis such as nukkad natak, etc. Various clubs are there which you can join as per your interest.

    I am a 2nd year student in B.Tech (Biotechnology). Life had been pretty good for me until now. I have had fun and faced hardships as well in my career. I think every student at least once in their life should live in a hostel.
