KIIT Bhubaneswar: Good Academics & Infrastructure

Overall Rating
I am currently in my final year and I have experienced 3 years in this Institute. My experience has been great. This Institute is good in every aspect like the crowd, teachers, facilities, etc. I chose this Institute because of its reputation and it is near to my house also. I don’t regret joining this Institute. I chose this field because I like experimenting with machines.
 

Academics Rating
The course I chose is B.Tech in Information Technology. I chose this course because I am familiar with the computers and I have an interest in them since childhood. The eligibility criteria are that the students need to secure 60% with PCM stream in their class 12th boards. For admission, the students have two option, first is to qualify JEE Main exams or second is to qualify the KIIT. There are 8 semesters in 4 years. In each semesters, there will be 2 exams such as mid semester exams and end semester exams. The academics will prepare you for real life challenges.
My tuition fee is Rs. 1,75,000/- per semester. The students have to pay the admission fee which is of Rs. 75,000/- which is a onetime payment only. KIIT Bhubaneswar provides scholarship to the students who perform well in their academics.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties belong from different parts of the country but majority of them are Odia or Bengali. They teach the students very well. They use smart boards to teach the students and the teacher methods depend from teacher to teacher. Sometime they conduct group discussion as well. They are very experience and solve all the doubts of the students. The teacher to student ratio is 1:40. My bonding with the teachers is great.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the College has placement cell. The people in the cell are really hardworking and help the students to secure good jobs. The students need to attend the classes which will make you industry ready. The cell conducts mock interviews and group discussion. The companies offer decent packages to the students.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, KIIT Bhubaneswar offers separate residential facilities to both the male and the female students. There are several hostels where students can live. The mess is also available which offers 4 meals a day. The hostel fee ranges from Rs. 79,000/- to Rs. 1,75,000/- per year. The hostel fee depends on the type of occupancy the student has opted. The rules of the hostel are not that strict but the students need to come to the hostel by 7:30 PM. My experience at the hostel is good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of this Institute is very beautiful and well maintained. The classrooms are modern and tech oriented. It has the seating capacity of around 100 students. The campus has libraries, labs, seminar halls, auditorium, etc. Various food courts and sports facilities are available for the students. My favorite thing in this Institute is roaming around with my friends.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is pretty good. The campus crowd has been very supportive and fun to be with. My have made several friends. There are many student societies which you can join. I was a part of KIIT Film society. The Institute conducts various facilities such as Flash Mobs which is very good to unite the students. It organise an annual fest every year.

    KIIT is an Institute where the main goal of the Institute is educates tons of children. The batch of 2024 has more than 4000 admissions. I had no other good choice rather than to join this Institute. Well it is not totally bad Institute if you can focus on yourself and use the resources efficiently I think you can achieve great things in life.     This Institute is a combination of extracurricular activities and great academics. KIIT provides a beautiful natural environment for students to study and perform their various vocational activities. One who is a great fan of sports and culture must come here cause it is the domain of all these.
