NMIMS Navi Mumbai: Good Learning Environment with Supportive Faculty

Overall Rating
My overall experience in NMIMS Navi Mumbai has been positive. The campus environment is focused on learning and the faculty members far good. I chose this Institute because of its reputation and exposure it provides through practical learning. The infrastructure is good, updated labs and regular events that help students to builder confidence. The atmosphere here pushes you to stay active and improving. The Institute is very good overall with proper study materials available in Institute.
 

Academics Rating
I am enrolled in the B.Tech AI & DS course because I wanted to build my future in the intelligent systems and understand how modern technology is used. The eligibility process was simple and admission process was smooth. The course included both theory practical with hands on project. There are 4 mid-terms and 2 end-semester exams in one year. In total of 4 years, it has 8 semesters and last semester is of internship compulsory. Overall, academics here helps you to become job ready and confidence
Year wise fee is Rs. 2,90,000/- includes tuition fee and other charges. The admission and registration fee is Rs. 1000/-. There are no special discounts.
 

Faculty Rating
At NMIMS Navi Mumbai, the faculty comes from strong academic background mostly Ph.D. Most classes are conducted using PPTs and interactive discussions. They focus on concept teaching and clear student’s doubts. The teacher to student ratio is good so you get the proper attention. Faculty guide in both career and academics and are very good as per my experience. Teachers are quite friendly and give internals marks as per your potential. The faculty mostly studied in its and good Institutes are hired here
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the placement services are provided by the Institution.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the hostel is available for the students. However, I do not have any idea regarding its amenities & fee, as I was day scholar.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of NMIMS Navi Mumbai has spacious classrooms equipped with smart TVs, ACs, and furniture. The auditorium is also good and canteen food is good in test with proper hygiene. The Institute has good quality classrooms with comfortable seats for both teacher and students. The canteen has various food items. There is sick room with proper doctors. The Institute has proper security system fully biometrics and ID punching systems. The Institutes has lifts has it has many floors with full cacti surveillance
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is good. Institute crowd may be around 3000 students. There are various clubs and committed for managing events. Every year, tech fest is organized and even sports events are conducted to motivate students. ‘Ignite’ is one of fest organized every year by STME department and even sports event is conducted with various sports games. Festivals are also celebrated in Institute.

    When I first applied to this institute, it was only as a backup. I’m from Delhi and I did not want to come all the way to Mumbai for the institute. Upon further research and combing through every institute admission website, I found stellar reviews and experiences of students. I am pursuing B.Sc.     This institute provides a balanced academic environment. There is not much to talk about the infrastructure but it has great facilities. The campus is well equipped offering a variety of extracurricular activities. The industrial connections through internships and placements need to be improved.
