Overall Rating
I chose Sarala Birla University, Ranchi to complete my GNM course because it is the best University for Nursing, in my opinion. It is the best for girls in all aspects including academics, Professors, Infrastructure, Practical Guide Theory, hostel, etc. It provides a calm, peaceful and safe environment. It is different from other Universities because it gives sufficient time to students for both practical and theory learning. They also help in building moral values in students through different activities.
 

Academics Rating
I did GNM in Nursing, which means General Nursing and Midwifery. It is a diploma course. I chose this because I like the medical field and serving people. The entrance requirement is that you have to give JCECE exam. After giving this exam the student is eligible to take admission. Admission procedure involves counselling of the student, then verifying student's admission form, and then finally submitting the documents that are required for admission.
The fee is approximately Rs. 6,00,000/- including hostel and mess charges. You have to give Rs. 8,625/- per month. The students who are from Jharkhand get scholarships from the Government.
 

Faculty Rating
There are many faculties. We have a Principal and Vice Principal too. And other faculties are also well educated who have completed their Ph.D. The method of teaching is through white board, projector, PPTs and discussions. The problem solving abilities of faculty is very good as they give sufficient time to students to make their doubts clear. The teacher student ratio at the University is 40 students and one teacher in each class.
 

Placement Rating
There is a Training and Placement Cell which offers good Placements to the students of Sarala Birla University, Ranchi.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel facility is very good. Wardens are very supportive and protective but strict too.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus academic blocks are very good at SBU Ranchi. I highly recommend this campus. Different classes have different themes such as Medical based theme. Seating capacity is 70 students per class. Conference hall, AV Aids Room, Seminar halls, Community lab, Nutrition lab, Library and other different labs are there. Canteen is very spacious and sufficient. There are many other cafes for eating.
 

Campus Rating
Overall my campus life is very good I love being there. I love the environment and its calmness. It’s a perfect place for study as there is no disturbance from outside, only silence. Sports day is also celebrated here. Events and activities are done, specially the Jharkhand festivals. My experience is very good I highly recommend this University.

    I choose this collage because in Ranchi after BIT Mesra, I found Sarla Birla University to be the one to complete my B.Tech degree. There is no sort of indiscipline or misbehave tolerated.     Overall, I would rate this college 8/10. The best thing about this college is its placement records and the teachers with great education. Adding to this, we have all the basic facilities such as library, canteen etc with a world class campus and discipline.
