Review of SBU

Overall Rating
My overall experience in the college was fantastic. I opted for BCA as I wanted to make my career as a front end developer. I wanted to pursue BCA from outside Jharkhand but as my financial condition was not good, I took admission here. If you belong to a middle class family and want to have a good education then SBU is a good choice.
 

Academics Rating
The college provides good academics along with good faculty members. The total course duration is 3 years. The eligibility is simple as you have to be simply a 12th pass with one subject as English. The course is well managed by the college. Although, the college is new, it regularly conducts exams and publishes results on time.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are a bit average. They are not very good as most of them are new but I would say that they are highly educated. The college keeps changing faculties resulting in disturbing the regularities in the curriculum and for the students too. Apart from this drawback, everything else is positive about this college.
 

Placement Rating
I am currently in the 2nd year and haven't placed yet.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college infrastructure is very good with a large campus areas of 60 acres equipped with huge buildings and natural environment. The classrooms and labs are equipped with latest amenities such as CCTVs, Projectors, Green board, etc. Also, it has basic facilities like canteen, library, and mess for the students.
 

Campus Rating
Various fests and festivals are organised in the college such as tech fest, photography competition, coding hunt, etc. Fresher’s party is also organised every year for the newly admitted students. There are various clubs created to help and organise events. The college also organises industrial visits for some branch students.

    I choose this collage because in Ranchi after BIT Mesra, I found Sarla Birla University to be the one to complete my B.Tech degree. There is no sort of indiscipline or misbehave tolerated. Overall its fine compare to other colleges or university in Ranchi. Exams are taken on time but I didn't like the duration between semesters as they take semester exam in 4 months or three months.   • Good college with decent learning atmosphere and on campus placements

    Overall, I would rate this college 8/10. The best thing about this college is its placement records and the teachers with great education. Adding to this, we have all the basic facilities such as library, canteen etc with a world class campus and discipline.     Sarala Birla University is one of the top private universities in Ranchi. The overall experience at the institute is quite good. I had chosen SBU as it has great infrastructure and a very big campus along with good campus records.     My overall experience in this college is average. Because it is good in some aspects like strict discipline, rules, and regulations. Regarding college campus, and mess everything. In 3-3 months semester exams are conducted and no gap is given between the exams. So the students don't get time to revise it's a bad thing.     Overall this university is above than average and I can say that in a state like Jharkhand if you find a private university for admission than this is the one or the only best option for you after BIT, Mera.
