My Thoughts About GBU Greater Noida

Overall Rating
My experience at Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida is great. This University has a beautiful architecture and campus. I am currently in my 4th year. The faculties have a very good way of teaching and it also conducts seminars, events on a daily basis which helps the students to learn new things apart from academics. Those who are planning to take admission in a Government University then they must consider this as an option. The University offers over 160 Courses at various levels. I have taken admissions through GBUET exam conducted by the University. I highly recommend this University for higher studies.
 

Academics Rating
So I have taken admission in B.Tech Computer Science course. The admission process is really simple. One who wants to take admission can visit the University’s Official website and fill the application. Then they have to appear for the entrance test and on the basis of their rank they can take their admission in various courses after counselling. The minimum CGPA criteria is 4 CGPA to pass each year. Otherwise the students have to appear for special back exams and those who fail in that will have to repeat the year. So if students manage their time properly it’s very easy to score good CGPA and develop skills along.
The semester fees for my course is Rs. 1,00,000/-. So the yearly fees is Rs. 2,00,000/-. Along with that, Rs. 20,000/- for hostel and mess, so yearly Rs.40,000/-. So I am paying Rs. 2,80,000/- fees yearly. One who has domicile of Uttar Pradesh Gautam Buddha Nagar, can take hostel exception as well.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are highly qualified in Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida. They have a very good way of teaching. Some faculties use black board and some use smart board for teaching. Faculties are highly supportive and students can easily meet them in their respective cabins. There are a good amount of faculties in the University. Apart from studies, they assist students in Placement preparation and guidance as well. In case the respective courses doesn't have permanent faculty, the University assigns guest faculties to respective course. So overall, faculties are really helpful and students have a good bonding with them.
 

Placement Rating
GBU Greater Noida, has a descent Placement. Corporate Relations Cell manages all the placement activities and helps the students in Placement preparation. Average package is 12 LPA in my course. Recently a student cracked a placement of 52 LPA in a big company. So overall, Placement is good.
 

Hostel Rating
There are no sharing hostels here; each student gets their own personal hostel rooms at affordable fees. Hostel fees annually is Rs. 40,000/-. For girls, the hostel timing are 7 PM. Mess food is provided 5 times a day which includes, breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner with food that is hygienic and of good quality. Hostels have caretakers and staff members for students. Overall, University provides good hostel life.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus size is around 511 acres. They have several schools for different courses. The also have Meditation centre, Shopping Complex, Playgrounds, Swimming pool, Hockey stadium, Indoor stadium for sports and Gym for girls and boys separately. Apart from this, the University provides different grounds for different sports like Cricket, Football and lawns for Tennis and Basketball Court. They also organise DJ Nights and Concerts. There are 3 cafes apart from complex. So, this University provides each and every thing required for a good campus life.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life experience is good. I have made a lot of memories here. I enjoyed all the functions and events and had fun in hostel with friends. Taken part in dramas and extracurricular activities too. I have attended the annual fest, DJ Night, Stand Up Shows, and functions in the main auditorium. The University helped me to learn and grow my learnings and skills & to become more confident and skilful. They are also helping me with Placement preparations. I highly recommend this University to all.

    Gautam Buddha University has been accredited with NAAC. The fee structure is quite affordable as compared to private universities. The tuition and hostel keys at GBU are quite reasonable that makes it a great option for students from diverse financial backgrounds. it offers integrated courses and unique programmes.     Gautam Buddha University is situated near knowledge park. I took admission in this university because my brother studied here and is a pass out from here. He told me that the university has good placement opportunities and I joined. University infrastructure is excellent; you can compare its infrastructure with other reputed Engineering institutes.... The faculty is also very cooperative and guides us throughout our projects and research work.     Campus view is very beautiful, infrastructure, fee structure is according to my budget, and these are the things that made me get admission in this university. Hostel security is also very good.
