My CSE Experience at GRIET Hyderabad

Overall Rating
My overall experience at Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad has been very positive. The Institute offers a balanced combination of academics and co-curricular activities. I chose this Institute mainly because of its reputation for consistent results, disciplined environment, and good placement record. The campus environment is safe, active and student-friendly. What sets it apart from many other Institutes is its focus on continuous improvement. The Institute also maintains good infrastructure, offering a balanced learning experience.
 

Academics Rating
I am currently pursuing CSE and I chose this course because of my interest in Programming and Emerging Technologies. The admission process was smooth, and the eligibility criteria was clearly mentioned on the official website. Exams are conducted regularly with mid-term assessments, lab exams, and end-semester exams to help students stay engaged with the coursework. The curriculum is well-structured and keeps pace with industry requirements, which helps us gain relevant skills. The academic environment prepares us well for real-life challenges through practical labs, projects, and problem solving-oriented teaching.
The fee structure for my program is reasonable as compared to other top Engineering Institutes in Hyderabad. It includes tuition fees, exam fees, and small additional charges for labs and registrations. Scholarships and fee reimbursements are available for eligible students through Government schemes, which make the overall cost manageable.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty at GRIET Hyderabad is very helpful and knowledgeable. Most teachers have good experience in academics and industry, which makes their teaching clear and practical. They use board teaching, PPTs, and lab sessions to explain topics. The teacher-student ratio is good, so it is easy to ask doubts. Teachers guide us in projects and assignments and are friendly when students need help. Overall, the faculty creates a positive learning environment and supports students well.
 

Placement Rating
Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad offers good Placement opportunities for my department students. Many top companies visit the campus, and the training sessions help improve skills. The Placement Cell is supportive, and seniors usually get good packages. Overall, Placements are reliable.
 

Hostel Rating
I am a day scholar, but the Institute provides decent and safe hostel facilities, for boys and girls separately. Students get Wi-Fi, basic amenities, and regular food. My friends tell me that the hostel environment is comfortable and good for studying.
 

Infrastructure Rating
GRIET Hyderabad has a very good infrastructure with clean classrooms, modern buildings, and well-equipped labs for students. The campus is peaceful and spacious, making it a good place to study. The library has many books, journals and online resources. There are also sports areas, a canteen, transport, security and a medical room. All facilities are well maintained. My favourite spot is the library because it is quiet and helps me concentrate better during study time.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life of this Institute is active. Students are friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. There are many clubs for cultural, technical and creative activities, and students can join based on their interests. The Institute hosts festivals, cultural events, workshops, and competitions throughout the year. These activities make the campus lively and fun. Being a part of this Institute has helped me improve my skills, make friends, and enjoy a good experience.

    I chose Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology as per my EAMCET rank because I got a merit rank in EAMCET and this college is at better position as compared to other colleges. In this most of the students are placed during placements in several companies. Also this college collaborates with many companies as compared to other colleges.     Factors that made me to choose this institute is good reputation of institute, high number of placements, and good academic work. As Like in other institutes we do not have that much number of fests and events, I mean extracurricular activities. But we have technical and non technical events and clubs in our institute.
