NU Ahmedabad Provided Me A Perfect B-School Environment

Overall Rating
I finished my MBA from Nirma University, Ahmedabad in 2024. It gave me the perfect taste of studying and how life should be after studies. Now since I am reviewing as an Alumni, I will vouch for everything from having excellent experience to peers to faculties to Placements, everything was in order here. I kept an eye on the Placements of this year as well and it was beyond par in comparison to 2024.
 

Academics Rating
NU Ahmedabad has made perfect tie-ups where they don't consider other B-Schools as rivals but as friends. Moreover, our academic curriculum are exchanged and incorporated with all the renowned B-Schools. Also, every year, competitions among all these schools were organized and that is how knowledge was passed on and exchanged with best of the best. So, academics here were not against our peers but with peers.
Fee was around Rs. 6,00,000/- a year and then a exam fees is around Rs. 10,000/- and then there were some other paid charges too.
 

Faculty Rating
Our faculties provided us a very supportive and helping environment. Since all of them were passed out of top Business schools, so they exactly knew how to maintain the academic and stress balance. Ask any B-School students today and they will say they are occupied for 14-15 hours daily and same was the case with us. Our faculties though, ensured that no students is stressed much and kept their mental health in place as they made us accountable for what we learned rather than what we scored.
 

Placement Rating
The MBA Placements of Nirma University, Ahmedabad are better than any of its other departments. I guess 25 LPA was the highest package of MBA program back then.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the University has hostels which were quite cheap too as it was around Rs. 1,00,000/- for double room and that too with an attached washroom. Unfortunately, I got late and took a PG nearby the University, as hostels are occupied immediately here.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our University is on the Gandhinagar Highway and it looks like it has taken inspiration from some European University as it is built that way. Open lawns are around every single block, and for me the streets of the University are better than that of Ahmedabad City as a whole. Central and departmental library both were there and our departmental block had a small but its own auditorium and University's placements Cell office.
 

Campus Rating
I came to Nirma University, Ahmedabad to have a tough competition and the level rose each day here. So, for me toughness and character building that happened here was something which is unforgettable. It has its own societies and fest called ‘Perspective Richter 10’. There are many Business competitions, and about 50 B-School students used to participate in our department fest. University's collective fest or the annual fest ‘NUZEAL’ was one in which all department students participated collectively.

  • Nirma University Ahmedabad's Fees and Scholarships
     

    Overall Rating
    We have a great faculty who are open to helping students at any point in time. I think future Law aspirants should definitely consider this university if what they want to do is something along the lines of Litigation and Judiciary. I chose the university since I only wanted to pursue B.Com.LL.B. I think the level of diversity in the university is interesting. I do not think that is something you can commonly find. The University has strong reputation for engineering, and it lives up to it in many ways. From academics to campus life, there is a good balance that makes the experience enjoyable and enriching.
