My overall experience was good. Choosing this Institution will be one of the best decisions. I enrolled in this University because it is reputed Institution in all over Tamil Nadu. They have pretty good Coding culture and the abundant amount of opportunities for displaying your skills. I made lot of memories in this University. They have high number of placed students.

I chose CSE AI/ML because I have keen interest in learning fundamentals. Eligibility criteria for this course are that you need to pass SRMJEE which happens thrice a year. You should have 67% in your 10th and 12th standard. Admission process begins after you get the rank. The academics will prepare you for the real world challenges especially in Technological sector. After this you need to submit the hard copies of certain documents mainly 10th, 12th results, Migration Certificate, Transfer Certificate, PwD Certificate if any and other documents. They will inform you to use registered mail id which you use while the registration process of your exams.

The fees structure I paid for my course was Rs. 4,50,000/- annually. As fees structure has been updated to Rs. 4,75,000/- annually. You need to pay an additional registration fees of Rs. 10,000/-. The mess fee is Rs. 60,000/- to Rs. 65,000/- per year. You will get scholarship if you are in 100 ranks they will give 100% fee refund of tuition fees, if under 1000 rank then get 40% refund. If you are from defense service family then you will get 35% to 40% scholarship. To maintain scholarship you have to consistently acquire CGPA above 9.8 as per their merit scholarship policies. Choosing laundry is a choice and it is totally up to you if you want to take it or not. It will cost you around Rs. 7500/- annually.

The faculty members are highly educated with lot of qualifications. Many of them have their research paper published. They also acquired Ph.D degree and high level of qualifications. They are highly skill full at what they teach. We have a digital board installed in every classroom, and they usually refer PPTs and external notes. Some of them put extra efforts in teaching as explain everything in detail. The problem solving ability is average. The number of students in each classroom is approximately 60 to 70 per teacher for every classroom. Overall there are approximately 600 to 3000 students. My experience was average with teachers.

Yes, SRM University Kattankulathur, Kanchipuram provide accommodations to the students. They provide learning material to prepare for each company. They organise career training session for students to make them aware what area they need to improve and also help them to keep resume updated. Many top MNC’s and startups come to our Institution for hiring and they offer good package to the students. Companies like Amazon, Visa, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, PayPal and many more visits for hiring students from our campus.

Yes, they provide accommodations to the students. The Hostels are provided by Institution is inside the campus itself. The hostels for boys and girls are separated from each other except in NRI hostels where ground floors are for girls and upper floors for boys. There are strict rules for hostels as boys in time are 9 PM sharp and girls in time are 6 PM. I stayed in hostel only in my first year. Mess food is good as they have variety of food and they maintain proper hygiene. The hostel fee is from Rs. 45,000 to Rs. 1,90,000 which mess fees.

Campus has lot of building blocks and it is too huge as every floor has 20 to 30 rooms. There are two main building named as Institution building and Tech Park where all Tech classes held. These building can accommodate around 2,000 to 3,000 members at once. The campus is very big and it is around 250 acres. There provide electric cars to travel from one distance to another. Each classroom has capacity of around 60 students and a single classroom can accommodate approximate 100 students. There provide many facilities like Hospitals, Library and many more. There are Canteens. They also have vending machines in each building. Security is available all the time.

My overall campus life is great and beautiful. It is surrounded by greenery which makes it more beautiful. There are many different department buildings placed closed to each other. It is crowded and sometime there is heavy crowd near the hostel mess. There are many clubs. You can enroll yourself into these clubs easily if acquire some skills. They are different domains in the club like Tech, Management, Literature, Student affairs, Marketing etc. I was the part of one of the clubs named DSA (Directorate of Student Affairs) where they give us tasks like to control crowd and volunteering in our Cultural fest. DSA organise MILAN, the grand Cultural fest of Institution. They organise extracurricular activities like Music, Dance, Drama and Photography with regular Events and Fests. They held Sports activities which include sports like Cricket, Football, Badminton, Basketball and many more. They also provide gym facilities. Entrepreneurship and innovation are encouraged through E-cell. They organise Hackathons, and Start ups workshops. Students can also be part of NSS, Social outreach, Leadership programs, and Volunteering activities.
