Connection Building Opportunity at Chandigarh University

Overall Rating
My overall experience in the Institution has been good so far. Here you meet students from all over the world which gives you the opportunity to build connections and enhance your social skills, as in terms of law it is very necessary to build links and overcome one’s social anxiety. Overall structure and department facilities are good as it is a student-oriented University and the infrastructure is very advanced too. Moreover, as per NIRF 2025, it has 19th place among the 'Best Universities in India’.
 

Academics Rating
I am a student of BBA.LL.B, and it’s very easy for the students to enrol in the course through visiting the admin cell or visit the official site of the Chandigarh University to get admission in any course. Students can give CUCET exam conducted by the Institution for a scholarship, through this process I got a scholarship of 40% and to maintain this scholarship students has to maintain a CGPA above 7.5.
The fee of my course in 2021 was Rs. 60,000/-, but as I secured the 40% scholarship, I only pay Rs. 38,500/- fee for a semester.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of UILS department is really good as they provide proper guidance and mentorship to the students. Many faculty members cleared the UGC net exam too. If any student is going through any kind of uneasiness, the Chandigarh University allots a mentor to them for such issues. Teachers use PPTs and also the board for teaching and my relationship with teachers are really good.
 

Placement Rating
TPC department is available in UILS department that provides placements and also helps in getting the internship.
 

Hostel Rating
University provides hostel facilities for both girls and boys and the hostels are within the Campus as well. As the Institution is constructing more hostels due to increase in number of admissions so exact number cannot be determined as of now.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Overall, infrastructure of the University is very advanced as it also provides e-vehicles for travelling within the Campus. They provide dedicated air-conditioned sitting areas for the convenience of the students in the summer. There are various food outlets within the Institution, dedicated library for each department and two central libraries. There is a sports complex, medical facilities and hospital too. Each department has its own auditorium, and the security in the University is very strict as the ID cards are checked on the daily basis when entering the Campus, dedicated parking space is also available.
 

Campus Rating
The crowd of this University varies as I mentioned the students are from all over the world. There are different clubs that students can join such as Dance, Modelling, Sports, etc. The extracurricular events are conducted on daily basis in different departments. The fest are conducted by the Institution and many Bollywood stars and famous singers are invited to conduct the show in the campus.

    The factor that made me choose Chandigarh University is its affordable course fee as compared to other law Universities. Overall the course is having a great curriculum with practical and theoretical knowledge. The University provides internship and placement assistance as internship from second semester onwards.     My experience at Chandigarh University is wonderful and memorable. It focuses more on practical and that doesn't mean it avoid theory, it balance the theory and practical. For a Law student, it's necessary that there is practical exposure with theoretical knowledge.     I chose Chandigarh University because of the reputation it holds. The campus is really huge, and infrastructure is top notch. Each and every facility is available in the campus.
