MAIMS New Delhi: My Journey to Become a Lawyer

Overall Rating
My overall experience at MAIMS New Delhi for the B.A.LL.B (Hons.) course has been mostly positive. Academically, the Institute is quite good, the professors are well-qualified and helpful, and the faculties overall are decent. There is a proper moot court setup, which is useful for Kaw students and helps in gaining practical exposure. The campus life is also nice—there are some canteens, so food options are not really an issue. Overall, the Institution provides a good balance of academics, infrastructure, and environment.
 

Academics Rating
For me, Law was something I always wanted to study so here I am. This Institute was my best option according to my CLAT scores within my city so I enrolled here. In this Institution, mid-terms and end-terms are the only 2 exams that are conducted. For me personally academics were a bit hard. You really need to study properly to get some good marks. I also chose this coure because they are recongised by UGC and BCI.
The fee of this course was about Rs. 1,50,000/- per year.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are intellectual and well qualified. Almost all of them are Ph.D holders and are fun to be around. They use effective teaching methods such as smart learning, apart from the bookish language; they also use real life examples. The teachers communicate with the students and ask them about what they know about the current ongoing topic which makes the classes quite interactive. They also provide a mentor whom you can reach out to if you have any query or if you're struggling with something, may it be academics or something personal.
 

Placement Rating
There is no placement cell in MAIMS New Delhi as of now.
 

Hostel Rating
There is a boy’s hostel in the Campus.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The building of my program is newly made so it is quite modern in structure. Auditorium is big and there are about 4 to 5 canteens that offer good food. MAIMS New Delhi is filled with greenery and it's huge so you won't get bored here. This Institute is very peaceful yet entertaining at the same time. My favourite part about the Campus is the trees and flowers. Basketball court is also there and students can also play football here.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life here is really fun. Fests and Events are also organised here and the Institutions’ crowd is decent as well. There is also NCC or National Cadet Corps present here which students can join. Moot Court is also available at this Institute.

    My overall experience in Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies has been really good. I have met all kinds of people here good, bad, the ones who do not care, and the studious ones too. Which makes the crowd of this Institute kind of cool cause every person brings out the better or worse in you.
