Overall Rating
My experience at Chandigarh University has been amazing and I chose it because they offered exciting courses that are in demand. It is also easily accessible for me. I believe this Institution provides you with a lot of opportunities and a great placement number. The infrastructure is fantastic and we have different blocks for each department. Campus life is great. I enjoy evenings with my friends and relax after classes. I have hands on experience in projects and up to date technology.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen Bachelor of Engineering in CSE specialising in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. I chose this because AI is the new trend. The eligibility for this course is Class 12th graduate. The admission process is quite simple; you have to pay the registration fees for booking a seat and then have a campus tour followed by filling required details. There are two mid semester exams organised and practical exams followed by final semester exams. The academics prepare us for real world challenges.
The fees per semester for my course is Rs. 1,40,000/-. The registration fee is about Rs. 5000/- which is paid at the beginning and then your semester fees. Chandigarh University provides scholarships based on their scholarship test called CUCAT or based on Class 12th grades. I secured 50% scholarship and I have maintained it till date.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members at CU Chandigarh are great. The teachers that teach our course are well educated and aware of the subject’s knowledge. We also have technical trainees which are well trained with technical as well as practical knowledge. The method of teaching is mostly through PPT's. The professors come prepared with their content and deliver the lecture accordingly. My bonding with them is great. They guide and help me in academics and my projects.
 

Placement Rating
I am currently in my 6th semester and placements will start from mid February. I am a registered student of TPP which stands for Training and Placement Program and I am preparing for my upcoming placement drives. The average package offered is 8 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, I was a part of the hostel for 2 years. In total, there are more than 16, 000 rooms. They provide 4 and 5 seater rooms with a single cooler. They facilitate ACs for international students. The attendence is taken at 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Food is also provided here.
 

Infrastructure Rating
We have different blocks for various departments. The infrastructure is amazing and modern built with beautiful decorations which is simple yet mesmerising. The campus is located in Kharar, Punjab. Facilities such as Wi-Fi and labs are present in every block and we have central & departmental libraries as well. Canteen and shops are available everywhere where students can eat. Different block for sports and extracurricular activities is there. My favourite spot to relax is 'Nescafe' outlet where I like to enjoy spending time with my friends.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is amazing. I enjoy a lot with my friends during and after classes. The peaceful evenings and silent nature heals you. The crowd is diverse with students of different regions and Countries. I am enrolled in clubs such as IEEE Club related to projects and Young Orator's Club which has helped me improve my communication skills. Fests and events are organised quite often here. Currently we are having International Dance and Music festival for 2 days.

    The factor that made me choose Chandigarh University is its affordable course fee as compared to other law Universities. Overall the course is having a great curriculum with practical and theoretical knowledge. The University provides internship and placement assistance as internship from second semester onwards.     My experience at Chandigarh University is wonderful and memorable. It focuses more on practical and that doesn't mean it avoid theory, it balance the theory and practical. For a Law student, it's necessary that there is practical exposure with theoretical knowledge.     I chose Chandigarh University because of the reputation it holds. The campus is really huge, and infrastructure is top notch. Each and every facility is available in the campus.
