Honest Perception of Campus Life at KIET University Ghaziabad

Overall Rating
At the KIET University Ghaziabad, my branch is CSE (AI) in B.Tech. You will get to see so much crowd in this University as there almost 10000 students in all courses. The academic structure is also very good. Every class has ACs. I chose this University because due to its placement statistics. In addition, I also choose because this is near to my home. It is located at Delhi-NCR, Meerut Road (NH-58).
 

Academics Rating
My course is B.Tech CSE (AI) & I currently in 3rd year. During my time, seats were provided via AKTU counselling. I got admission through this counselling but it now become a University so you can get direct admission through 12th marks or you are JEE Main score. Only 2 to 3 exams are held in a particular semester (CT, PUE, and Final). Academic is so strong in this University.
The annual fees is approximately Rs. 1, 50,000/-. The hostel fee is something about Rs. 1,15,000/-. Yes UP government scholarship also provided to the student whose family income is less than Rs. 2,00,000/-.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are very good, well-educated, and experienced teachers. Every class has a smart board so every teacher teaches you on a smart board. Regular labs are held in their respective subject’s lab teachers. Most of the teachers are Ph.D scholars and some of them are doing Ph.Ds. Almost every problem is solved by our experienced faculties.
 

Placement Rating
Every department has its own separate Placement Cell but there is Central Placement Cell, which handles all department placements of KIET University Ghaziabad. The average package of our University is 4 LPA to 5 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, University also provides residential facilities. There are 2 girl’s and 4 boys’ hostels. I hear the mess food is very good. Hostel provides 4 meals in a day. Girls need to return to their hostels by 8 PM to 9 PM.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are separate blocks for each department from A to H. The campus size is 21.56 acres. The seating capacity of classroom is about 70 students Almost every academic facilities is provided by the University including central library, separate departmental libraries, seminar hall, and an auditorium with capacity of 500+ student at a time. There are many canteens in a University campus. My favorite place is Nescafe canteen and library of our University. The campus is very clean and the air purifier also present in our University.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life of a student is excellent. There are various clubs present in our University. An annual event is held in which various Universities participate. If I speak about my overall experience is very good.

    Well, I got admitted in KIET Ghaziabad when it became an Autonomous Institute. This made this Institute different from the other nearby Institutions who are affiliated to AKTU. The academics here are good and it prepares the students for the real life challenges. They focus more on practical learning rather than theoretical learning.     According to me, pursuing B.Tech from KIET Group of Institutions is a great option with a great return on investment. It is highly considerable as it has a great and a passionate crowd. The Institute provides the students with a lot of opportunities in cultural and academic aspects. The campus life here is pretty fun and interactive. It has good sports facilities too.     My experience at KIET Group of institutions, has been like a roller coaster ride. Sometimes you will enjoy hanging with friends while sometimes you may feel overwhelmed by assignments. But overall, you will enjoy your institute life here. The faculties, facilities and infrastructure all are good. From the day this institute became autonomous, the things have been even better.     Overall KIET Ghaziabad Group of institutions offers well-balanced education, with practical based leaning, and hands on experience. It has good infrastructure with very good quality of Wi-Fi network every in whole campus. Cafeteria and canteen food is edible and good enough. Placement records are much better.
