SPMCW New Delhi: Admission, Fees, and Others

Overall Rating
I was in Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College women. I had a very great experience. I have improved a lot in these three years. My College has many facilities for extracurricular activities, NSS, NCC, and all these things helped me to enjoy my College life. The College has many facilities such as a big auditorium, a library with three floors, football court, canteen, etc.
 

Academics Rating
The course chosen by me is B.A program in stream Human Development and Family Empowerment (HDFE) and Political Science. Curriculum is quite updated and help students in up skilling and improving their intellect.
The total fees of my course in 1st year was Rs. 10,000/- and it was very affordable. That means I did my overall graduation in Rs. 30,000/- as my course was of 3 years. It includes the tuition, library, and other charges.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are very nice and helpful towards the students. there are tutorial classes also which help you to understand better and clear your doubts with the professors. The faculty members are approachable.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a Placement Cell in Shyama Prasad Mukherji College for Women New Delhi. However, there is much room for improvement in this particular area.
 

Hostel Rating
There are residential facilities for the faculty members but not the children, my college is for only girls , it provide college facilities like cafeteria, library, auditorium but there is no hostel
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus area is 10 acres. There are two blocks in the College- old building and the new building. The old building has a common room for girls. College has many facilities like library, sitting areas, labs, seminar halls, auditorium, conference hall, canteen, etc. it provides facilities like gym, football court. It has a medical room, bus, and security facilities.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life was very good. I had a very good experience in my College. I used to take part in many extracurricular activities like dance performances, and fests. I was in different society. Delhi University’s Colleges are perfect for good exposure. It is important to take participate in extracurricular activities besides your studies as it helps you to engage with people with different mindsets.

    My experience is quite good, and I like my college as it comes under Delhi University. The infrastructure of the college is very good, and the environment is so quiet.     Shyama Prasad Mukherji College for Women is an off-campus college of Delhi University. The college is big, area wise, in comparison to various other colleges of DU. Being only a girls college the campus life is not very exciting but if you make good friends the college will be more exciting.
