Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology is a deemed to be University (AKA VelTech University) with A++ NAAC grade. It is in Tamil Nadu State and is situated in Avadi which is nearly 28Km from Chennai Central Railway station. In this university you will find the undergraduate and postgraduate course. The University is divided into parts which is having different branch or course having separate college (Arts and Laws). It is Established in 1997. Overall University is good it's having a good placement score and the highest placement of 2022 is 45 lakhs/annum with the average package of 4 lakhs/annum. In this university you will find a good environment and the best thing about the university for girl's its quite good because they provide good facilities and safety to girl's regarding everything.

Computer Science and Engineering now a days is a top demanded course. In VelTech University they provide Computer Science and Engineering core and with specialization with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Data Science, Web Design and it's provide separate course for AI and ML, Data Science and Web design. The University do workshop and coding competition weekly which enhances the students to take part in the competition and improve in the program language and development of skills it provides competition like Quiz, Innovation competition, Attitude mind, and codethon which is held every month and the winner get price of Rs.5,000 and different competition have different price money. These activities made for the students to take part and work on their skills and all.

All the faculty are good they have a good teaching experience and they provide the good method of teaching the university run because of the faculty and staff and in this university all the faculty are good they help students so much and if any students is not able to understand they can meet the faculty without any heritage and asked because this option is provided by the faculty and HoDs of our department always motivate students to talk to their mentors if any problem if not solved then come to HoDs and solve the problem. One of my HoDs said in the seminar that "Every problem have a Solution you just need to find it" and we will help you to find it. The faculty support students and they want that students should ask questions from them so that they can teach them more and give a good knowledge about that topic. In every college or university there is faculty who just come and go but here you will find maximum faculty who care for students and few are there who can teach and go but some are there who interact with students which helps students to communicate with them easily.

Year by year the university placement is becoming good. Last year in 2022 the highest package was 45 lakhs/annum and with the average of 4 lakhs/annum. The maximum students of the university is placed in tech companies. For placement many big companies visit like TCS, Amazon, Capgemini, Infosys etc. The placement department of college work very hard for the students and make students to do well in placement. They provide a extra class after college with teaching of different programming language and many seminar help for the development of skills.

In VelTech University they provide good hostel. To keep in mind with the anti ragging they provide different hostel for 1st year students with many restrictions which is good for the students because the students who come from different state and city they don't know about the environment of that place. In hostel they provide food for North Indian and for South Indian both you can eat in anywhere and everyday they provide chicken expect Saturday. The food quality is good and with good breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. The quantity is better than other colleges or universities hostel as compared because I asked many students of different colleges and universities. The rooms are good with attach bathroom and 24*7 electricity with 24hrs water supply and it's provide 2 in 1 room, 3 in 1 room, 4 in 1 room. It provides A.C rooms on different price although hostel is very good and food is also good.

The infrastructure of VelTech University is good they are having different blocks for the different departments as they provide different buildings for 1st year students of Bachelor degree which is quite good and for the different departments they provide different blocks and with the research park and with the C.K Naidu stadium which the ground of University in which all the functions and program and outdoor games are played. The university is developing and more new building is in the progress and it's having different blocks for lab and with a good facilities of labs and with different library for different departments.

Campus Life is also good they celebrate all the festival and fest and function the biggest celebration of the university is LAVAZA which is celebrated 3 days in a row. It provides many clubs Arts and Drama club, UBA club, Coding Club, Innovation club, and many other clubs. Campus is not that much big because it's having hostel somewhere else and college is somewhere else and the Arts and Laws college is at different place. University provide everything which is needed in all the college or university either you talk about fest or function or any clubs.
