The Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology is a very good university in the Tamil Nadu Chennai. The University is A++ Grade by NAAC. Which make this university a top ranked grade in the Indian University. This university offers a number of course like Bachelor degree of Technology in Computer science and Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Engineering, Data Science, Web Design Engineering, Biotechnology Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering Aeronautical Engineering and many more. The University is situated near the Chennai Bangalore Bypass which gives the university a good environment of peacefulness and the university is surrounded by a good environment. The University provides a good placement after all everyone focus on this only. The staffs and the handling faculty are having a good experience of teaching some are not that much perfect faculty but most of the faculty will teach you in an easy way. After all university is good if you want to do B.Tech in low budget you can come in this university have a good 4 year life. In the Computer science and Engineering with Specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning the course are same as like the core computer Science and engineering but few courses are different. In specialization the university teaches the programming language from 1st semester itself and gives more focus on the programming language and skill development. VelTech University provides a good knowledge from starting and making students enhance to know about the Artificial intelligence and Machine Learning by providing workshop and extracurricular activities which makes the students to get the knowledge of that easily. The University runs extra speed classes for the students who are having above CGPA of 8.5 in the semester to make that students get more knowledge of the courses and what they have to do. The University provide Soft skill class in which every class the students are taken to a different - different auditorium and some time in class and held a seminar in which faculty and students interact with each other so that while in placement this will help the students. If any students want to come in this college they can come and take admission because the college provides good faculties. And a good courses and faculty too.

The faculty of this university is very hard working. The faculty provides all the needs and helps the students to score good marks and gain knowledge. In this university some students are not interested for studying as we see in everywhere this type of students but here the faculty wants that students also to study and gain knowledge. The faculty always motivate to students about life and what to do in future, how to get a good placement, how to manage the time and the best thing about the university faculty is if any students facing difficulty or anything they can contact the faculty privately in their cabin because many students faces difficult in asking questions while in class. The faculty try to teach in easy method because many faculty I see in this university they make the topic so simple that the students take the topic so easy as I see in data structures course the faculty make the course so easy that all the students not only in my class but in other classes also they scored good marks in Data Structure course because of the faculty they make it so easy and not only Data Structure in maximum students they make the topic easy and friendly. The faculty tell their hardworking story and about their background so that the students get motivated and study hard they always say that without knowledge and skills you can't do anything. The faculty give their extra time after university classes end to encourage students and make them perfect in the placement.

In VelTech University the main role played is placement department because whatever you study or gain knowledge the results comes after placement. The college provide a very good placement according to the fee structure of the college. The University provide placement to maximum students and in 2022 the highest package was 15 lakhs on campus and 1301 students placed in company with the average package of 3.5 lakhs and 1 student get the highest package of 45 lakhs out campus. The placement is good and the faculty of placement department do so much hard work for students’ placement practice and make many contests held which will help during placement. The companies which are come for hiring students in placement are Infosys, Capgemini, Amazon, Mahindra Tech, TCS, Wipro and many more. Every year the placement of the students is increasing in 2021 total number of students placed is 1101. The placement department of the university help the students to perform well in placement they provide extra classes and the faculty help the students in learning programming language which helps during the placement. They conduct seminar and all and quiz contest and aptitude mind test, group discussion, public speaking, essay writing, personal interview, codethon which help the students to improve and get more knowledge how to perform good in the placement. After all a good placement in this college maximum students get placed because they university provides a good facilities and do work on average students.

The University provide out campus hostel for boys and in campus hostel for girls. For boys the hostel are situated in their places nearby college in which 1 hostel campus is near college and other 2 hostel campus are in a distance of nearly 1 km but the university provides buses from both the hostel to the university campus. The good things about the university hostel is that for the 1st year students they made a separate campus which is the nearest campus from University to keep in mind about the ragging and all. The University is anti ragging so to keep the 1st year students in a good environment they made separate campus for that and in that campus all the facilities are provided like playground for different sports different mess for North and South students, Gym and all. Medical facilities available in all the hostel campus and gym are also available in all the campus for girls and boys both. The rooms are good in the hostel and attached bathroom are available and are divided in parts like 4 person in 1 room, 3 persons in 1 room, 2 persons in 1 room both A.C and Non A.C. The mess food is good they provide chicken everyone in dinner except 1 day in a week and same for egg in lunch time and a healthy breakfast for South Indian students they provide their breakfast idli and all and for North Indian they provide chapati and all, means according to their places food are available so no issues about this that in different states we have to eat that state food. Every day the chicken and egg recipe is different and in compare to other hostel food this university hostel provide a good food with morning coffee and milk and evening snacks and tea. In hostel there is washing machine for students which students can use and water filter in which hot, cold, normal water facility is there and geyser is provided for hot water for bathing. A good hostel with lots of benefits and the price is same as compared to other hostels.

The Infrastructure structure is not that much big and not that much small, it's average the department for CSE, EEE, ECE, MECHANICAL,CIVIL, Biotechnology, Biotech engineering are having seprate building for each departments. There is research park for all the department and for laboratory and all there is different labs according to their department and in which the students is studying for example for 1st year students there is a big block in which all the department students are there in different classes with all their need are available in that block with labs and all. For higher year students there is separate blocks for the different departments. The campus is situated near bypass which gives a peaceful environment because of low residential area and out of market. After all infrastructure is good they provide a good group for sports and function which is held in university and separate ground for volleyball and basketball. The University provide library for all the different departments and canteen is there and in between blocks there is shops for Xerox and as well as for snacks and all like a small canteen. The University is making new building for different departments because every year the number of students taking admission is increasing. The campus is green with lots of trees and all which makes the environment good and quite. The building are interconnected with each other except CSE building and research park building which helps the students to go other building easily. After all a good infrastructure I like it.

In this university every month there is fest organised by senior or junior. There is dance club and singing club which take part in the fest and other club's are also their Arts and Drama Club which also take part in every fests or celebration. The University celebrate all the festival like Navratri, Ugadi, Onam, Christmas, and many more in every year there is grand celebration at a time which is called LAVAZA which is the greatest celebration in a year in which they call chief guests like 1 time Surya come popular Tamil superstar in 2023 they call DSP the Indian music composer and many more they call on this event this event goes on 3 days and in each day they call different celebrities and all. Including this there is other club's like Innovation and entrepreneurship club, Short film club, coding club, Drama club, and sports club and many more in the list. They university organised sports day in which all the students can take parts in different sports. For different club there is different events held in the university.
