Galgotias University B.Tech Review By Pandit Pushkar

Galgotias University is one of the best universities in Delhi NCR. It was established in 2011. The university offers different courses including B. Tech., BCA, MBA, BBA, etc. The university is accredited with NAAC A+ grade. It is the first private university to receive a NAAC A+ grade and 3.37 score in the entire Uttar Pradesh. University Campus is beautiful and very big. The Management is good and very helpful. The main things that made me to choose this particular university are the placements and the events which are organised regularly. The placements are really amazing in university. About 80-90% students from B. Tech. CSE and MBA get placed every year from this university. Placements for other branches except B. Tech., BBA, MCA, and MBA are not that good.

The university offers different courses. For taking admission, there are various criteria. For admission you must have at least 60% marks in your 12th grade then only you can apply for admissions. They take admissions from CUET (Common University Entrance Test) entrance exam. Students who are interested in taking admissions to B. Tech. can give CUET exam, and then after counseling they can take admission in the university.

The faculties are very good. They recruit South Indian professors for B. Tech. CSE. They are very good and cooperative towards the students, and they are very helpful also. Whenever any faculty member applies for leave, the university provides a substitute faculty for that period of leave.

Yes, There is a placement cell in the university, and it really helps the students. They ask you academic as well as schooling data before the placements and arrange many seminars and placement activities.

Yes, there is a boys’ hostel in the campus and the food mess is right behind that hostel. There is a hostel for girls also, but it is in another campus of the university, which is the Galgotia College of Engineering.

The infrastructure is good. They provide sufficient space for parking inside the campus. There are four blocks in the campus namely Block A, Block B, Block C, and Block D. Block D is the hostel for boys. Block C is basically for SCSE (School of Computer Science and Engineering) students. All other classes except SCSE department are held in A and B block. Accounts department is in A block. And the construction of 1 new block is currently going on.

There are different clubs in the university like E-Cell, Noteveda, Graphics, GMT, and Student council. Students who are interested in singing, graphic designing, dancing, etc. can join these clubs. There is too much crowd in the university. The university runs on Sunday also because of too much crowd. Every year the student council organises fests and too many DJ nights.
