Infrastructure of JEMTEC Greater Noida : Classrooms, Labs, & More

I joined JEMTEC Greater Noida in August 2024. Initially, I was very skeptical about it due to its location (I live in Delhi and it takes a lot of time to reach there by any means). Later when I joined the institute, I found that majority of the students are daily commuters. One of the main reasons, I joined this college was that it is affiliated to GGSIPU and others were placements, placements and fee structure.

I am currently pursuing B.Tech CSE from this esteemed institution, though the first year subjects are same for all the branches. I joined the institution by giving JEE Main exams and then applied for IPU counseling. There are some rank criteria to get your desired branch (all CS related branches are available here). Even if you don’t get your desired branch, you can always go for upgradation. We have 2 mid-term exams per semester before end-term exam. Mid-terms are usually of 2 units and are comparatively easy.

Fee structure in entirely similar to all GGSIPU colleges. It’s very affordable than the other private colleges.

Faculty here is truly amazing. They are very dedicated to their subject and teaching. We complete our syllabus before time and do revise before exams. They teach in a very fun and interactive way making it easy for us to understand. They provide us with study materials and assignments to help us understand the topic in detail. Teachers are very understanding and cooperative. They also conduct quizzes for students and ask us to usually present a topic taught by them in the class as a PPT.

Infrastructure, of JEMTEC Greater Noida I would say is above average. All the classrooms have 2 ACs. Classrooms also have projectors for presentations and other modern tools. Classrooms have occupancy of 60 to 70 students. Benches are a bit uncomfortable but still manageable. Water coolers are provided in every floor. We now also have lift. Our labs are also equipped with all the required apparatus. Seminar halls, auditorium, & conference halls are newly renovated and are fully air-conditioned with large seating capacity. We have a canteen where we can have our lunch, it also has snacks. Right next to the canteen is the stationary where we can get printouts etc.

College life is going well. Though the faculty here is strict, yet we manage to enjoy here. College crowd is mostly from Delhi and it's easy to bond with people here. There are various clubs within the college. Every department has different societies which student can join. They also have coordinators to help the members conduct events. Every department has their own dance club, singing club, etc. We also have cultural societies and technical societies. I myself am a part of cultural society of B.Tech CSE department.
