Must Visit SBU if you want quality education in Jharkhand State

Overall Rating
Overall this university is above than average and I can say that in a state like Jharkhand if you find a private university for admission than this is the one or the only best option for you after BIT, Mera. I chose this University because it is attached with a powerful brand name that is, the Birla Group.
 

Academics Rating
Here I am in the Computer Science and Engineering branch which I chose because it is in high demand. I got the admission with the help of my percentage in 10th and 12th grade. If you get 90 - 95% in CBSE in the 12th grade, then you can get a 50% scholarship in tuition fee and if you get 95 - 100% then your tuition fee is free and will be provided by the college.
 

Faculty Rating
In Sarala Birla University the faculties play a vital role to develop the student. Here some faculties are very good and very supportive. Many faculties are Ph. D. degree holders or MBA holders. But some faculties are not good.
 

Placement Rating
The one thing you get with security in this university is that if you score a passing CGPA then you will get a job in the final year. A maximum package of 12 LPA and an average package of 5 LPA are given.
 

Hostel Rating
Our university hostels are not good as they do not provide good rooms. They provide small beds with 5 people in one room. The fee is also very high.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our university has a large and big campus of about 65 acres. The academic blocks and the building structure are properly maintained. We also have a huge library, big classrooms, with modern facilities are available. Washrooms are cleaned properly and regularly. The cafeteria is also big and provides good and hygienic food.
 

Campus Rating
On the basis of my experience the campus life is very adventurous. Here you find laboratories with all facilities and computer lab with about 500 systems. Here you will make many friends. But one thing you have to follow strictly is the discipline, if you not follow then you have to pay penalty for this that is about Rs. 10,000 or more.

    I choose this collage because in Ranchi after BIT Mesra, I found Sarla Birla University to be the one to complete my B.Tech degree. There is no sort of indiscipline or misbehave tolerated. Overall its fine compare to other colleges or university in Ranchi. Exams are taken on time but I didn't like the duration between semesters as they take semester exam in 4 months or three months.     Overall, I would rate this college 8/10. The best thing about this college is its placement records and the teachers with great education. Adding to this, we have all the basic facilities such as library, canteen etc with a world class campus and discipline.     My overall experience in the college was fantastic. I opted for BCA as I wanted to make my career as a front end developer. I wanted to pursue BCA from outside Jharkhand but as my financial condition was not good, I took admission here.
