Honest review about our college, BHU

Overall Rating
BHU is the largest residential university of Asia. There are excellent facilities in library. Exposure of hospital for learning skills, work interaction with senior, junior and other health care providers. There is health centre for student’s treatment which is free of cost. Life changing experience with lots of learning opportunities. BHU is not an only a university, it’s an emotion.
 

Academics Rating
Here, B.Sc. Nursing is the wings of institute of medical sciences (IMS). This is a 4-year course and internship are also included in it. Here, admission is through NEET exam. It is mandatory to have 10 + 2 and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. If you are interested in medical field or Nursing, you can take admission here. Here, you get a good exposure of the hospital (SSH, CSSD, MCH, Trauma Centre) due to which the practical skills are prepared better. Academic fee in 1st year is 1100 rupees and in 2nd year 3rd year 4th year fee is 8946 rupees (hostel fee includes).
 

Faculty Rating
There are some external classes by doctors and internal classes taught by nursing tutors. Nursing tutors are M.Sc. and Ph.D. Modern technology of education are adopted here and demonstrate the procedure. There is duty in the hospital from 8 am to 1:00 pm and class conducted from 2 pm to 5 o’clock. Here, some faculty members are average while some are excellent.
 

Placement Rating
No placements are there.
 

Hostel Rating
Only girls are given hostel here. There are two hostels, one for 1st year students are another for 2nd year, 3rd year and 4th year. Infrastructure and facilities are good. Hostel fee includes admission fee and mess money is Rs 3610 per month.
 

Infrastructure Rating
BHU campus is very nice. There are two libraries; one is only for medical students and another for all BHU Students which is Central library, here cyber library also available. There is one building college of nursing that building is good and another is IMS which is also good. Our medical library is in this medical college. College of Nursing, IMS and hospital all are near to hostel. And a large Vishwanath temple is in BHU campus. And sports ground also available to all students.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is good. But there is no more specific clubs and fests conducted except ELIXIR. It's very crowded here. Here, games are held every year in winter. Daksh is connected sports, paintings, poetry, essay writing, etc. One Health Mela is organised every year. There is good opportunity to explore your abilities.

    BHU Varanasi is a very reputed University with good ranking and has a very good environment. There are a lot of facilities available for students such as free bus services, free health check up and even free medicines for students at health centres by using their health card.   • BHU Varanasi Central Library is Called 'Sayaji Rao Gaekwad Library'

    I am from Banaras, so choosing Banaras Hindu University Varanasi came out as a great option for me. All the things here fascinate me like the green and the peaceful environment. Moreover, the central library here is 24/7 open and has numbers of books. Students come here from all over India and some from even different countries like Nepal and Bangladesh.     One of the factors that made me choose BHU Varanasi is its well-known central library, which provides lots of books as well as high seating capacity for the students to study. Another factor is its affordability and the reputation it holds.
