Sri Venkateswara University B.Tech Review By Bhanu Prakash Reddy

I choose Mechanical engineering course in B.Tech at Sri Venkateswara University College of Engineering due to following reasons which are: highly advanced equipment in labs, all classrooms have digital boards, there are 20,000 plus books at central Library and there are highly qualified teachers and assistants with a green environment around the campus.

I choose Mechanical Engineering which generally deals about machines and it's designing. The basic entry requirements will be intermediate with 75 percent marks, Rank below 10,000 in EAMCET exam for general category. Eligibility for Mechanical engineering is passing intermediate with good score, cracking the entrance level exam with good score. The students who are interested about machines and their designing keep improving their academic excellence in the intermediate and study smartly for the entrance exam and cracking it.

The faculty of the Institute is good, and they are highly trained members. For our course, we have 3 Professors and 6 Assistant professors. All faculty members have completed M.Tech and Ph.D. We also have some teaching assistants, who solve the problems of the students. Teaching style of faculty is that teachers explain every topic detail manner. They try to solve every student doubt regarding the subject.

In our college, we have a Placement Cell with a well-equipped placement cell officer. Every year, placement cell brings many companies to the college. Placement cell also provides some coaching classes for placements. Placement cell helps students to acquire jobs in the industry.

Hostel is moderate with basic facilities. The hostel is surrounded fully with greenery. In hostel we also have a playground for playing cricket. In hostels we also have a indoor games boards for playing table tennis, caroms, etc. Bathroom is not properly cleaned. Hostel rooms are moderate.

We have separate building for our mechanical engineering branch. At our branch building we also have administration office of engineering. In our building, we have a highly equipped communication lab for English. We also have a highly equipped computers lab at our building. Placement cell and examination cell is also present in our branch building. The building is surrounded with greenery and lot of fresh air.

My college campus life is good, and it taught me many good things about life. In our college, every year we conduct sports meet with a program called "Rhapsody" Where every student tries to give their best. Our college also conducts cultural fests every year. Our college also encourages students to join in charity clubs. Our branch also works for charity with an organization named as" spoorthi ".
