Amity University has been a crucial part of my journey. It has taught me the relevant skills and about the major areas of life. It has a diverse culture with the students coming from all over the world, which makes it a vibrant place to be in. That's also the reason why I chose it in the first place. The amalgamation of the Rajasthani culture with the other states and countries brought me to the real world of enthusiasm.

I enrolled for the Journalism & Mass Communication course, to get the same, we need to get through an interview round. You require a certain percentage in the 12th grade. My interest has always been in Mass Communication and doing something which intrigues me. That's the reason I decided to be a part of this course.

If I talk about the faculties then they are the most supportive people in the University. I still remember the days when I was in need of them and they never said "NO". From Online journalism to media research and other subjects, every faculty supported me, helped me, and given me the exposure that I needed in terms of recording studios or practical exposure to photography world.

Amity University has a structure for campus placement, there is a department CRC that helps you to get in the sector you want. We are given the forms in which we write the names of the companies we are interested in. Being a part of the Campus placement, I was thrilled with the organisation and the co-ordination that the College had done. Though there are times you may feel that opportunities aren't enough for you but the guidance of the faculties will help you.

Hostel life is always memorable and must to experience. We are given an apartment with three rooms, with 2 students in each. We have a warden who is always there to look after us, In each hostel we have Nescafe which is open till 10 AM and sometimes timings may vary. There are 4 wings- A, B, C, and D including boy’s hostel. We have a beauty parlour to groom ourselves and a huge place to sit outside and have fun with friends.

It's an enjoyable university with approx. 5 blocks to study, each block has different activities and courses. From soccer to huge basketball courts, football grounds, chess tables, carrom boards, etc. Amity University has it all. Each building has 3-4 floors and a big library in E block. There are various means to erase your hunger with food truck, sankalp canteen, Mr. Bean's, cafe coffee day, etc. Huge lanes to walk and experience the night view. An apartment to reside your parents into. Some faculties also live in the campus. Hence, it’s an amazing experience overall.

Amity University is not just about studies, it’s like living a life in real. We have DJ nights in which celebrities are invited and talent hunts programs. There is a strict security and all the safety measures are taken to ensure the welfare of the children. There are clubs such as Horse riding, literary club, and other clubs to enhance your skills. There are about 5000 students combining all the courses and each course has its engagement activities such as travel & tourism students go for a tour, graphic designers, etc. to get their different exposure. We have open mics, debate competitions, art competitions, sketching, poetry competitions etc. In conclusion, Amity University, Jaipur is a different level of learning & life. I feel blessed to be a part of it.
