Auro University BBA Review By Harsh Bharwani

Auro is lively college where students live with each other with harmony. Love the ambiance and the atmosphere of the college. Auro can compete with foreign universities in terms of infrastructure and even studies as well as it focus on developing us to compete with the outer world rather than making us a book worm. The college is new and so is its teaching methods. The importance of team work and developing leadership skills has been the motto at Auro University. Highly inspired by the freshness that our University has brought. Many university students have come to our college to understand the way our college operates. The only problem that I see is strictness. The college is easy going and therefore many students even avoid coming to classes and are rather spoiling our University name.

A lot has been told by Auro University Surat that it is meant only for rich people and that academics are given no values. However, it is not true as the college education method is one of the latest and perhaps the way forward. Thus we are digitally equipped and the way our student understand the outside world is better than that of students passing out from other universities. So don’t listen to any rumours and if you are capable of handling the studies on your own as the institute can only teach but can’t force it on students.

Faculty is great both in terms of quality and numbers. We have enough teachers and every semester new teacher come in. As I said freshness is the essence at Auro and therefore if you are not happy with one teacher you will just be tolerating them for one semester. I don’t know if I am allowed to take names but most of the staff members are keen in knowing students and helping them in their pursuits. Thus, on faculty front the college has done a fantastic job in recruiting some of the best teachers.

I wish I could write N/A (Not Applicable). Tell me one thing which BBA college in Surat or for that matter anywhere offers placement. If we rule out top 10 colleges in India, I don’t think BBA guarantees you a satisfying placement opportunity. The college believes in making leaders and has successfully done that as well.

My cousin is also a part of this college and she stays in girls hostel. For people who shy away from staying or sending their daughters in the hostel, I can say that girls hostel at Auro is safe and sound. There is also a boy’s hostel at the campus but that is at the different corner and after 7pm no boys are allowed around the hostel. The guards are on duty always and the rooms are just too good. Both the hostels are identical and rooms and all are almost the same. Rooms are huge and clean. 2 students stay in one room and the space is ample to fit in both. There’s also a mess that serves great food. You will never be short of variety and my cousin only comes on Sunday for her meals as she says, she never miss home food. There are timings in place and after 8.30pm, unless your family gives a prior intimation, you can’t leave the hostel premises. However, in boy’s hostel you can go out at any point in time.

If there’s another adjective for cleanliness, you can associate that with Auro. Lovely outfield, a small little canteen and good classrooms are all that are required. Besides that the college is spread across far and wide and has a beautiful cricket ground. An auditorium and a large hall. Security is tight inside the campus and you can only enter the college building giving your thumb impressions. Thus the students who are not a part of the college can’t enter the main building. I have never heard such high-tech infra offered by any other institute and that’s what makes Auro the best in its league. The parking area is huge and 80% of the students come by their own vehicles and also the teachers. An open parking area is also available at the backside and during events even if all the parents show up, still the parking place won’t be short.

Campus life is usual. I have got what I asked for. Nice teachers, made nice friends and there’s no form of misbehaving or popularity shown inside the campus as the management has their hands up always. The timings are great as the 1st lecture for BBA is conducted at 11am and we are free by 5pm. We don’t get much break in between the lectures but that’s part and parcel of this great University which has shown and will keep shining undoubtedly. Thus, I will highly recommend Auro as it is a great University to be a part of.
