An Overview of IIITDM KURNOOL

Overall Rating
For the students in who have secured more than 45k rank then this college will be a good option especially for the students who are interested to study in the south region. You can get ECE branch with rank up to 56k which is very good for this rank. For 35000 ranks you can get CSE here which is best option if you wanted to study only CSE. Here you can also get AIDS branch if you have rank between 38-44000 ranks if you are interested in Artificial intelligence.
 

Academics Rating
The curriculum that the students follow will be so helpful for their career. As relative grading is considered, students will be benefitted in securing CGPA. The performance of the whole class is taken into consideration for grading. Here we have labs for many subjects which give good practical knowledge in their respective subject.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties who are appointed here are well qualified and have a very good command on the subjects that they are supposed to deal with some of them are even participating in the research on the respective subjects. Recently some of the faculty got recognized in the top2% scientists. They guide you in every aspect of the subject or your projects.
 

Placement Rating
IIITDM Kurnool is having its own placement cell. It really helps the students in acquiring the jobs it's just been 6 years since it has started, but the placements here are so fine and I'm sure that after 4 years IIITK will be getting a very good organisations for its placements.
 

Hostel Rating
If we have to talk about the hostels, 2 new hostels MVHR and SRKH are being constructed recently. The hostels are so good by means of sanitation and maintenance. Even the rooms in the hostels will be spacious as only 2 students are supposed to be in one room.
 

Infrastructure Rating
This institute is maintaining very good standards in point of view of infrastructure and especially hostels here are so good even with Wi-Fi facility. And most of the construction work is in about to finish. So, the student will be satisfied with the environment. Here they separate blocks for branches and labs. With library and computer labs.
 

Campus Rating
The institutes over all campus life are pretty good. Students from all over the India come here for studies. The overall student strength is around 1200. There are variety clubs in the institute, we can join any clubs as per our interest i.e., cultural, academics, sports, literature, coding, etc. There are fests held rarely buts events are held at regular intervals.

    As I am from the neighboring state Telangana, I felt that this institute is near which was one of the reason to join this institute. Another reason was to pursue the field of my interest which is Computer Science and I got AI&DS branch.
